I love hobby lobby, because of so many reasons, but Most of all I especially treasure how welcoming they Make you feel when you walk in, whether it’s in the morning, mid day or two min before closing like me, the way they treat their customers is like they’re kind of almost like family. They’re so welcoming rather than just like trying to sell something to you and that’s the end of it. especially when somebody like me who is running late constantly because of my jobs like getting me out so late and I am running through the doors sometimes one minute of the time they close and they are still there with a smile which is unfortunately more rare than ever these days.
So i also definitely just wanted to give a shout out to Amy and Sarah (not sure who is the manager or if they both are) but I’ve seen them both before and they both have been beyond amazing every time im there shopping. So to anyone out there who hasn’t been to hobby lobby I wanna let you guys know that you are missing out of not just their sheer selection of incredible crafts (anything you would need from a-x)but you are sadly missing out on their wonderful over the top customer care. I’d give them 6 stars if I could...
Read moreIt wasnt great. I was very disappointed with how long it took me to get an employee to help me in the fabric department. I had to go up to the front three times to ask for someone to come, each time I waited 5 minutes and had to go back to ask. Each time they were surprised I still hadn't been helped. It was like all the employees heard the announcement and thought someone else was going to go. I ended up having some help me who told me they had never worked that section before. Not very encouraging when you need fabric cut. I also had a really hard time finding Christmas fabric, their selection was not as good as I had seen in the past. I only found two fabrics and neither were useful for what I needed them for. I also saw serveral groups in the store not wearing masks and I also saw a man with a large german shepherd inside the store. The dog was on a normal leash and didn't have a service dog vest, maybe it was a service dog or maybe dogs are allowed and I wasn't aware but I was just kind of strange to me. All in all it was a bad enough experience that I probably will avoid going...
Read moreThis store is huge, so I had expected Hobby Lobby to have a lot of stuff for hobbies. However their hobby supplies were minimal at best. They did have a decent supply of model cars and some big dollhouse kits. They had some other items like coloring books, but not a huge amount of art supplies to color the books in. It's almost like the "Hobby" in their name was more of an after thought. As someone who loves arts and crafts and hobby shops, this was a disappointing surprise.
However, they had a ton of stuff for decorating the house, like pillows, art, seasonal goods, and just general things that you put on the wall or the mantle. If you are looking for crosses to put on the wall, then this is the place for you. There was also a constant stream of instrumental Christian hymns playing while we shopped. (Some folks like this; some don't. I'm not judging. Hobby Lobby is pretty clear about their religious views.)
The cashier was polite and friendly. The store was neat and clean. It wasn't a bad shopping experience. It just wasn't...
