EDIT August 12, 2025: I returned to the store and explained my issue and the screen replacement was covered under the 1-year warranty that Ubreakifix applies to their repairs. The following day I had an issue with the battery no longer reporting its charge which I assume was still due to the original repair, which they also covered under their warranty. Additionally, I was informed that the tech that performed the original repair no longer works at the store, and all of the employees I worked with were attentive and very helpful. I have amended my review to reflect the updated experience. I went here last year to have the glass covering the back camera of my phone replaced. I was advised that the repair would be complicated as it required a full removal of the internals, which I understood. They were not able to give me an accurate timeline however, so I had to keep calling to check when it would be completed. Upon returning to the store, the front desk attendant did not verify my identity and gave me the wrong phone at first. Additionally, I figured out later that the camera lens wasn't cleaned before the new glass was installed, so the wide-angle camera was covered in dust which significantly affected the quality of any photos taken. Additionally, about two months ago I noticed that the screen of my phone was "loose" and felt like it wasn't fully reinstalled into the chassis. Today, I dropped my phone from ~3 feet, and the entire screen completely fell out and disconnected. I looked into the chassis of the phone and observed multiple missing screws and the majority of the adhesive for the screen seems to be missing. I managed to reconnect the screen, but it is completely damaged and unusable. I would not recommend going to this store for a repair more complex than a screen replacement.

Incompetent service. Brought my phone (S20 FE) here for a broken connector repair a few months ago. They ripped out the entire piece from the motherboard, destroying the entire phone! This also bricked the warranty so Samsung's repair pricing went from 172 dollars to 442 dollars. This the price of a whole new phone. Eventually had to find a microsoldering company that could put a new connector on rather than having to spend 300 plus dollars on a whole new motherboard. I will never trust uBreakiFix again. If you are unable to fix a phone, let the customer know that, rather than attempting a repair you are unqualified for. I didn't receive an apology or anything either. After bricking my phone, they just asked me for more money. Never again. A company that destroys your property and doesn't even have the decency to apologize but rather grubs for more money is a company that I will never use again. They did do a screen repair for my phone before that was fast and efficient so I expected a similar service this time, but this did not happen. UPDATE (1/25/2022): uBreakiFix sent me this email to "resolve" my issue. They never did. They took my information and ghosted me. EXTREMELY unprofessional company. It has been a whole month and they have not responded or escalated my case. Never do business with this group UPDATE 2 (1/26/2022): They unghosted me. uBreakiFix has decided that a discount on future repairs is adequate for bricking a 500 dollar phone. The reason? I got my phone fixed by someone else after they destroyed it. They also tried to contact me by calling me. Hint: No such calls exist in my phone.

I brought my 6month old Samsung G6 flip phone in to correct the black screen that recently started happening to the phone. One guy took my phone to the back a different guy came out in 2 seconds (bad news guy) He pointed out a chip on the corner of the phone that I promise you is not visible to human eye and a line on the screen (never saw the ā€œlineā€) (phone has a screen protector on it) told me he couldn’t take it due to the microscopic ā€œdamageā€ smh… just put a sign on the door that u don’t take Samsung phones and stop wasting peoples time.

Absolutely outstanding service, I couldn't be more impressed or happier with the outcome, and all at a great price. Bottom line: just go to this location and trust them with your phone, they're amazing and will valiantly do hero's work to repair your phone. If you have a few minutes, my story about this great location is below.

I took my precious iPhone 13 Mini (the last of its kind šŸ˜”) to uBreakiFix because the battery was no longer holding a decent charge. Making the afternoon appointment online was simple and I walked into their conveniently-located store in a large shopping center with tons to do while I waited for the repair.

The day here in Pennsylvania was 107 degrees F and humid, and the expected rush of cool AC was not there when I opened the door. It turns out that the AC was broken not only in this shop, but the shops next door...it was the whole wing of the shopping center that was affected.

But in this store were two awesome gentlemen valiantly doing their work, as if nothing was wrong. When I asked about it, the guy I talked to said was originally supposed to be fixed that day, but now it wouldn't be until the next day, and cheerfully moved on to helping me prepare my phone for a battery replacement.

It turns out that I had turned on Stolen Device Protection, so had to turn that off and wait an hour before I could turn off Find My iPhone, which has to be done before the battery swap. He helpfully warned me that it had to be turned off within a 15-minute period after the countdown finished, or it would turn itself on again (whew, Apple!). He helped me to start the process and the countdown began. While I waited for the Apple countdown, I went to one of the great local restaurants and had sushi while I worked on my computer.

Once the countdown completed, I again entered the sweltering premises, feeling so sorry for these wonderful guys that were working on incredibly tiny and delicate electronics that are all glued together in the midst of the heat. They took my phone and said to return in an hour and a half. I went for dessert at another restaurant and worked again while I waited.

I returned and paid a very reasonable price for a genuine Apple battery (he showed me the box from Apple) and everything is once again perfect with my iPhone 13 Mini.

This is a wonderful service that I recommend to anyone needing their phone fixed. My family and friends will all be using it in the future. If you have an issue with your phone, don't give it a second thought, just go and they will take care of you with care and wonderful customer service, regardless of anything they may need to go through to...

My kid stupidly had a friend replace their IPhone 8 screen in hopes they wouldn't have to tell me about it. Afterward when on charge it would show the Apple logo, but would not charge. I've learned this a common problem when disconnecting power that a mosfet connector gets broken off. For a pro that knows what they are doing this isn't a difficult fix. I brought it here and explained. They told me indeed it needed a mosfet connector and they could do the micro-soldering, but they needed to order the part and it could be 2 weeks due to supply chain problems. I called 3.5 weeks later - they never called me back. Now they said they couldn't do the soldering - the person who could do it quit. I picked up the phone with a plan to take it elsewhere.

At home I connected it to the charger and this time not even the Apple logo displayed. Before I took it elsewhere I opened it up and noticed that in fact someone had tried to hack a fix in with a copper wire where the mosfet was suppose to go. The flux and solder left behind was quite a mess. Clearly they did indeed try to fix it in a very non-professional way without the actual part and made it worse. I took it elsewhere and not surprisingly they told me it was hacked and messy and probably shorted out when the last repair person tried to turn it on with such a mess inside. They didn't even want to try to work on it.

This shop should have asked me if they could try this hack. I would have said no and just gone elsewhere. Instead they lied to me by claiming they didn't try to fix it because their guy quit. They pretty much ruined any chance at having this fixed with their hacking. They don't know what they are doing, they made the problem worse, and they lied to me. The only upside is they didn't charge me anything to ruin the device completely.

I didn't bring any of this to their attention after the fact and outside of this review and I don't intend to. They are obviously liars and I don't want to deal with them ever again. If you want your device repaired correctly and professionally just don't...
