Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in West Whiteland Township

Excellent cakes period. However, after today’s experience, they will no longer have my business. Let me explain. I purchased a half dozen Bundt cakes from a local school fundraiser. Unfortunately the school was unable to fulfill my order and provide the correct flavors I ordered. So I called the local store in Exton and explained my situation and asked them if they would exchange a lemon Bundt cake for a chocolate chocolate chip one. The woman on the phone explained it was not their problem and the school signed for the cakes, stating they have the correct amounts. One would think, a local business would be understanding to my situation and simply exchange a $5.00 cake. So I will no longer be patronizing this Exton business nor will I be making the extra stop into the store to get a cake, like I usually do, when I am in the same shopping center getting my skates sharpened. I have came to this location MANY times but today will be the last. I placed an order online and there was no drop down to request no icing. I put it in the special note section. I called the store and Dana answered the phone. I explained the above situation and told her wanted to confirm no icing. Dana repeatedly said " There is a drop down menu, you have to click on it." I repeatedly told her there wasn't. She asked someone in the store to hand her her phone. "Oh there isn't a drop menu, well there is you just cant see it." She was saying this with a non customer service tone. No apology offered. This is not the first time she has used a non customer service voice with customers. On another occasion I was in store waiting for my order a gentleman walked in and asked If I was next and I said no I'm waiting. Dana said " I know you are waiting." with...

I was “bundted” two cakes, a strawberry and cream, and lemon. I am not usually someone who writes a review, actually I never do, but I HAD to for these.

Let me start with the packaging - it comes so well thought out, and fun. I think presentation is half the battle. They are super cute. The ribbons, the container, the booklet, all do a fabulous job to showcase their amazing goodies. I am not a sweets person. I don’t eat cookies, cakes, sweets in general. But I loved these little Bundt cakes! The frosting is amazing. The cakes themselves just melt in your mouth. I have been dying to get some more. I’d be heading there right now if they weren’t closed on Sundays. :)
