Updated Review: "I'm gonna start off by saying that I love Maggie Moo's ice cream - it really is delicious! This is why I am leaving an extra star in my review. What I don't love are the staff. My sister and I went to get some ice cream a day or two ago. We arrived at 8:56PM, which was 4 minutes before closing. We walked into the building and didn't get so much as a greeting, let alone an offer to see what they could get us. We walked in knowing exactly what we wanted and were prepared to tip well for arriving later. There were probably 4-6 girls working, and not one of them even spoke a word to us. We watched them give each other annoyed looks and whisper about us to each other for several minutes. They didn't even acknowledge us until 8:59, when one girl finally decided to speak to us, only to falsely tell us that they were closed. I responded saying that we knew that they closed at 9, we had arrived at 8:56 and that we had known what we wanted, so they absolutely could have served us and gotten us out before 9. This girl was dismissive and very rude to us, and all of the staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. I have no ill will towards the company, but to the girls, you were still on the clock. I know people walking in at the last minute isn't the greatest - trust me, I work retail, and my sister works in a restaurant. We know. But there is no excuse for you not to have done your job and helped us out. You guys missed out on 2 sales because of your unprofessional attitudes and behavior. I hope that you will either take this as a lesson or look for a different job. Very disappointed in the service (or lack thereof)."

2019 Review: "Fantastic ice cream in a great area, right by Barnes & Noble and other nice places only a walking distance away. The staff are friendly, and their treats are absolutely delicious! I personally highly recommend the red velvet ice cream with brownie bites in it, but be forewarned - if it melts and drips it will get very messy very fast! Very worth it in my opinion though. I love going to Maggie Moo's and have been getting ice cream and cakes there for almost ten years. So I was sad when I ordered an ice cream cake last Friday and went to eat it to find that the green icing tasted toxic. I am a pretty understanding person. I can accept icing that when it is colored to have a slight chemical taste, but this was something else. So the birthday party turned into everyone spitting out the first bite and scraping all the icing off the cake. Nevertheless, people make mistakes maybe something happened. I called Monday morning to let them know that there was something wrong with the green icing. I received a whiny sorry and that there would be new green icing made for their orders today. Do they really using icing from three days ago? Needless to say I was disappointed in their customer service and lack of care for their customer. They did not even ask if it made anyone sick. They could have responded with a reimbursement, partial reimbursement, a replacement cake, a coupon, told me that a complaint would be filed, that I could talk to the manager, that the manager would call me. Any variation of the above would have satisfied me, but instead I got the feeling I should just get over it... after all it is only a $30 cake. I will not be buying anything from Maggie...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Management/Ownership needs to teach their employees what customer service is. I went in with my family ready to spend money and not one person looked up or acknowledged us or ANYONE in the entire building. They all looked annoyed that they were there. Not my problem. On top of that, the one girl was eating food in front of us, scooping toppings with the same spoon that was in her mouth. No gloves, nothing. Disgusting and disrespectful. We left with no purchase obviously. When I called about my experience a nice manager apologized and said the owner would handle it. He was extremely aggressive and pompous. Not a single sorry for your experience… instead he was questioning me about my job experience? I responded with that doesn’t matter. Said he would call me back never did. 0 out of 5 stars. Awful.
