I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gardiner Market during my six-day stay in Gardiner, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all my expectations. The outstanding level of service and the genuine kindness displayed by the employees left a lasting impression on me. Having read negative reviews from a local individual complaining about discounts, I feel compelled to address the misguided nature of such criticism.
As a business owner myself in Indiana, I understand the immense effort it takes to successfully run a company while fulfilling obligations like business taxes and workman's compensation. It is clear that the individual in question lacks a comprehensive understanding of the challenges associated with running a business. Their assumptions that Gardiner Market's products must be conveniently sourced from just a few blocks away reflect a limited perspective.
In reality, Gardiner Market goes above and beyond to provide a level of service that sets them apart. The employees demonstrated an exceptional dedication to their customers, always ready to assist and ensure a pleasant shopping experience. Their knowledge and helpfulness were unrivaled, and it was evident that they genuinely cared about meeting the needs of each individual.
What impressed me even more was Gardiner Market's commitment to the community. Operating a small business in a town like Gardiner can present unique challenges, but despite the odds, Gardiner Market has remained open, serving its customers diligently. This level of resilience is commendable and speaks volumes about the dedication and passion of the owners and staff.
Throughout my month-long trip, Gardiner Market stood out as a top-notch establishment. Their dedication to customer satisfaction, combined with their unwavering presence in the community, sets them apart. It is businesses like Gardiner Market that create a welcoming and thriving local economy, making a positive impact on the entire community.
I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the team at Gardiner Market for their exceptional service, kindness, and their commitment to staying open even during challenging times. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and I am grateful for the positive experience I had while visiting your store. Gardiner Market is truly a gem in this small town, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional...
Read moreIt's pretty much the only food store in town. I went there from Yellowstone to pick up a couple of things for my wife. The guy at the checkout, I think his name was Tim or Tom, spent 5 minutes talking to someone while I waited to check out 2 items. I was the only customer waiting. He saw me waiting but could care less, I guess because it's the only grocery in town. He never acknowledged me and I didn't say anything about him ignoring me while I waited, but when I handed him a ten dollar bill he didn't have change, so he says something like "just calm down and I'll go get change" and turns around and walks off for another 5 minutes while he gets change. Like I said, I never said anything to this man. Clearly he was aware that he was being rude by ignoring me but rather than be a decent person and say thanks for waiting or something, he chose to be a tool. I felt he was intentionally making me wait longer because I was a tourist - a very passive aggressive act. I guess that's why he works in the only grocery in Gardiner Montana. Try to...
Read moreSince this is the only supermarket in town, it’s nice to know that friendly, knowledgeable people work here and are at the cash register. The prices are reasonable, considering the isolated location. If you want name brand items, and you don’t want to pay premium prices, get them in Bozeman or Livingston before driving into Gardiner. You’ll save money, but I don’t recommend it. Supporting this local store, and the convenience of getting everything at once is gratifying & time saving.
They have a wide variety of beer and liquor, including local brands. Local brands of other items are also available. Produce is fresh, and so are the bakery items which are available in the deli in the back of the store. We found everything we needed, and then some. We were able to prepare meals at our VRBO five out of the 7 days we were in town because of the variety & freshness of food and drink! We were happy...
