T.J. Maxx — Local services in Westfall Township

While I was at the register, an employee was asked to make a ticket for an item that I wanted to purchase. She states to the cashier who was ringing me up that if the item was opened it couldn't be returned in stead of just making the price ticket. While waiting for her to make the ticket (which she never did), she kept repeating this and then went back to a conversation she was having with another employee. I then said and what if it isnt opened and I want to return it? She looks at both myself and the cashier and says well yes, you can return it, and instead of making a price ticket, she gave me the item that had a price (the one I didn't want because it seemed to have been handled more) on it already and continued to look out the window and continued to carry on a conversation with another employee. I then told the cashier that I no longer wanted the item and I wanted to speak with a manager. At that point the employee says to me, did I do something to offend you? I said actually, yes. As I was explaining what offended me the employee smirked and laughed. Eventually the manager came up and spoke with me. I used to like it there too. TJMaxx was my go to for stress shopping. An assortment of items at great prices for the home! They have Household Decor, Clothing, Shoes, Cosmetics, Winter/ Summer Gear, Holiday and/ or Festive Items, Cooking appliances, Camping or Barbecue Supplies, Bedding Infant and Nursery necessities, Clothing, Learning Instruments, Toys and a large variety of Accessories and Everything in between! Cannot go here for one thing... Ever! I can buy kids clothing and household bedding for the family, if I have quick or preplanned travel needs, they got it covered too!!!

It's the closest store in my proximity to get to by vehicle or whatnot, for Clothing Especially, (Women's/ Men's and Kids) of decent quality, it's close to ShopRite, In Montague. They are pretty quick and efficient at checkout, Considering how most of the lines there are usually open and attended! It a good in and out for most needs, if you can do that sort of thing 😏 They clean the counters and counter area between each customer before purchases and all the prices are reasonable and fair!

It's hard to not want to look at everything... and possibly buy most of the store. At least for now, I'm not rich, nor do I need all of that!

Retail...

I went in to purchase a nice pair of earrings for myself and was looking through the jewelry cases. There's an elderly lady there but says nothing to me. I was at one of the side cases and a tall man came to the case and the elderly swung in asking him if he needed help while he was standing right next to me. I was not addressed, or looked at. It was as if I was invisible. I moved on to the next case and when she finished with her "V.I.P" who bought nothing, she and a young dark hair girl were talking about not losing something. Again, I'm in front of them and neither said anything to me. The lady then began to stock a case and no other customers were there. I walked to that case exactly where she was and started looking at the merchandise. This lady ignored me again! I stood there for a couple minutes and then left that area. I don't know, maybe I was invisible but it's peculiar how everyone else seemed to see me. I'm not going to make any accusations except terrible customer service because I don't know this lady BUT, I don't beg anyone to take my money! So too bad for you TJ Maxx; your store is only as good as...
