Luna Rossa Restaurant and Pizzeria — Restaurant in Westfall Township

The restaurant was freezing inside. The thermostat was set to 66° in a hallway of an eatery with the front door constantly being opened for pickup orders, making my grandmother very uncomfortable from the start. We were provided with dirty flatware. My fiancée ordered regular wings, and I ordered boneless.. we both get boneless wings, but they had a good crunch to them so we didn't waste our time complaining. I then received my entrée- fettuccine alfredo!! (Or so I had thought/ordered)... I asked for chicken, broccoli, and mushrooms in it, but they also seemingly added bacon bits. Not wanting to be a bother, I ate a few bites.. I couldn't get past the overpowering flavor of the bacon, and proceeded to eat some pizza we ordered for the table. Come to find out, when we get the check, that the woman put in an order of fettuccine Carbonara, NOT alfredo..

Joanne, the snotty server, said "you ORDERED carbonara" To which I said, "no, I didn't.." She went back and got her notepad, even more of an attitude, and tried to tell me again, that I had ordered something that I didn't even know existed until I received the check. "YOU ORDERED FETTUCCINE CARBONARA" went through me like nails on a chalkboard. "Ma'am, you may have written down 'carbonara' but I've never heard the word carbonara before now, so I don't even know how it would've been possible for me to do so." I continued to fight for a refund for uneaten food that I didn't order until I could see the people around us getting uncomfortable- at which point I decided to be the bigger person, pay it, and just avoid coming back. Overall, a terrible dine-in experience with rude and inattentive waitstaff (at least Joanne, according to my reciept). But, with the timing on things coming out, and the amount of food we had to reheat, I would be wary about their takeout as well.

The worst food I ever ate! The pizza was spoiled. The Italian combo had no oil and vinegar after I asked for extra oil and vinegar one piece of cheese, ham, salami were's the pepperoni? I told them no mayo! The dog wouldn't eat the sandwich meat or the pepperoni on the pizza. She loves pizza.! I asked the girl there and she told me the special comes with 2 2 liter sodas they gave me 20 oz sodas. I called them back she had the guy there lie and say it was supposed to be 20 oz sodas the conversation was on speakerphone 8 other people heard it! It was $73 for lunch special sandwiches two sandwiches Italian combo and one ham and cheese no American cheese. The cannoli was the worst one I ever tasted the tartufo was melted. My Grandma's salad came in a smaller container than the cannoli's and had dirt on the salad and no chicken. Only thing was good was the Sierra Mist. I am still waiting for my 2 2 liter sodas. I ordered at 2:30 now is 10:45 pm.I am not lying I had delivery Mr. Owner! I have 8 witnesses it was on speakerphone. I should have listened to my friend she told me your pizza was terrible! I don't even know where to begin. The restaurant was cold, silverware was not clean what so ever. Waitress got orders wrong, food was served cold, and at the end of the meal Waitress gave a serious attitude. We brought our 92 year old grandparent for a nice night only to have the girl talk like garbage to us after stating our concerns. Needless to say we will never be returning.

UPDATE* As a small business owner myself I understand not wanting the bad review but please change your staff ASAP! Especially Joanne or Joan as a server! She was absolutely disgusting and told us "great" about not returning. I've worked in the same exact industry and have/will NEVER treat people the way we were treated. Also please make sure your silverware is Extremely clean from now on because with all sorts of sicknesses going around I literally wanted to vomit seeing a fork greasy and still with food on it! Kind of breaks trust in your resturant on first impression. Usually I don't go out of my way to do this but our Grandmother did not deserve to feel that uncomfortable or...
