The manager was loud and obnoxious to her employees. Cashier I delt with was pleasant and efficient.....until....the manager came and "took care of everything " I was overcharged, Asked for 1van 1 chocolate frosty. She decided I needed two vanilla. I ordered a chicken salad at the speaker until she took over...scared us half to death she was loud, short with us, not at all professional. At the window I asked the initial person that I spoke with...I think I owe more money. "Salad never added because the manager didn't bother to allow cashier to complete the task before she took over. .....the tells me after it was evident the salad was left off the order.... .....""YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT, YOU DIDN'T PAY FOR THAT ON YOUR ORDER" ...RUDE AND TACTLESS I'm sure she has the skills and ability to display acceptable customer service. That just wasn't her night. The two cars behind me had similar (not the same) concerns. Maybe just an...
Read moreJake's Way back Burgers are a nice departure from fast food. The menu is fairly simple with a selection of crafted burgers or build your own. The burgers a juicy and the standard double is very filling to the point that I didn't need to eat Dinner after having with for lunch. What stood out for me most was the fact that I could get an order of half fries and half onion rings. It was the perfect portion combination for my wife and I to share. The onion rings were perfectly fried with a crisp exterior and a nice balanced onion inside that was too crunchy or too soft. You can tell the fries are hand cut from fresh potatoes. There had a nice potatoey inside. The outside could have been a little crispier, but that is my personal preference and did not take away from them being enjoyable. I was just passing through Matamora on a trip to the east coast, but I will definitely make this stop on future trips...

The Era of the Mall is dying. When I was young, they didn't exist yet, but then neither did lots of other things that have come and gone. So, much like my 8-tracks, cassettes, VCRs, pager, and all those others, now Malls have...
