I booked an appointment with hairstylist Erica Vetta for color, cut and style one of the hairstylists there, my cousins recommended her and I wanted to give it a try and since her work is good I said why not. As soon as I arrived I sat down and was asked what color I wanted, I proceeded to tell her and she instantly stated that she had no time to do the color I wanted she went to ask her colleague for assistance on the color and she agreed there just no time. Erica showed her appointments and I’m other words the salon over booked her she only had 2 hours for me because she had another client right after me. I let het know that it’s very upsetting that they booked her another client right after me without knowing what color I was going to get, haircut and style they just assumed it was only gonna take 2 hours, I live in NY I would’ve never traveled if I knew what the outcome was going to be. As a business you should always asked your clients what they are going to get done or at least have it as an option when booking online after ask your stylist on the time not just assume it’s going to be quick and overbook because this is one way you can upset your clients specially the ones that are new to this salon, I never experienced anything like this usually all those services take about 3-4 hours. Overall if was a bad experience and I would never go back to this salon hopefully they do better with their appointments and talk to their stylist and clients before scheduling...

Elegant Image is absolutely amazing! From the moment I went for my bridal trial I could tell their team was incredible, talented, and very caring. I was supposed to get married April 2020, obviously it was postponed, and we ended up getting married this march. Throughout the whole process Amy and Claudia were extremely responsive answering all of our questions and reassuring us. When the day arrived, we were warmly greeted with a beautiful set up for our morning to have breakfast and a relaxing way to get ready. It really helped all of my nerves. All of our hair and makeup turned out beautiful and stayed for the rest of the day and for some people even the next day! They were not only great with my bridesmaids but also my flower girls who were so excited to be there. Not only did everyone turn out beautiful but I also always felt safe in the salon with their restrictions. A huge shout out to Claudia, Amy, and Jayleen for their amazing work. What a great experience at this conveniently located hair salon right across from the Westfield train station on South Avenue.

I wanted a nice haircut with someone who would take care of me before my trip for my birthday and that’s exactly what I got with Crystal! She has 17 years of experience and it showed! We had a fun conversation and she had me laughing so hard I started to get tears in my eyes while she made sure that my haircut was perfectly neat and exactly the way I wanted it. I was very pleased.

The inside of the salon is well decorated and very comfortable too! I highly recommend this salon for all of your hair needs and for guys who want to be sure to get an expert haircut and not get butchered this is the best place to go to in the area. Trust me I’m very particular about my hair and one mistake from an inexperienced stylist means weeks of wearing a hat to hide your hair! I now know I can count of Elegant Image Salon to take care of me.
