I went here once after a recommendation from my doctor. Patrick helped me during my one visit and he was great, really took the time to explain everything until it made sense. The day after my first visit, I had to have an emergency surgery. The doctor said I couldn’t lift anything for three weeks, which made having to delay PT for a while.
Someone from the office called me a few days after I had surgery to schedule another visit (a bit odd, I’ve never had a PT office call me to schedule but whatever), but I explained I would need to hold off on more PT sessions for a few weeks. What really irked me was that they called four more times over the next three weeks to schedule another session (it was always the same woman, I won’t put her on blast here). I let most of the calls go to voicemail because I didn’t want to deal with that while I was recovering from my surgery. The last call was yesterday and I was actually ready to resume PT, so I took the call. But what she said when she called made me feel uncomfortable; I didn’t even share that I was ready, but she jumped in and said, let’s try to get you back before the end of the week so you don’t have to “process” you again (she never even asked how the recovery after my surgery was going; I could see if it was a different person I spoke with but it was the same. I get it, they have a lot of patients, but at least have some awareness). I asked if the urgency was insurance related and she said no. So I asked why would I care? Isn’t scheduling at my convenience? She really didn’t have an answer for it. I totally felt like I was being pushed to come back, even if it wasn’t in my best interest, or if I was ready. I’ve been to a few PT places in Westfield and never been pressured to schedule anything. It’s about my recovery, not their business right?
Went today to another office in town, will never call this place again. Five stars for Patrick, but zero stars for the woman harassing me after surgery to schedule...
Read moreIn July of 2020 I tore my bicep muscle at the elbow. After surgery, I began rehab at professional physical therapy with very minimal motion in my right arm. I don’t remember the exact number but my arm didn’t extend much further than my elbow to start. During my time I was treated by both Patrick and Kristin. Both therapists were professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. They were also more than willing to share all of their knowledge with you and kept the atmosphere very comfortable. I ended up doing 6 months of rehab. I was afraid to go back to work. On top of it, I was going to a job that was very heavy work. And from day one back at work, I’ve had to stress my bicep in myriad ways. Movements that Patrick and Kristin tailored my rehab to mimic so I could be in the best possible position to return. They were very creative in preparing me for return. And I needed it. It’s paid off. I can’t thank them enough! I’m back to full strength and using my arm with minimal fear these days. I should’ve written this review for them a year ago. But hey, the proof is in the pudding I guess. Here it is 2022, and my arm is great. So thanks guys if you read this. You did your job well. So I can do mine! Much gratitude ✌🏻
Edit: Back at Professional PT for some knee issues. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for physical therapy. Glad Patrick is here to work with me. I highly...
Read moreI had come home for spring break during my freshman year of college recovering from back surgery. I was disappointed as I had to sit out my first season of college baseball but I knew I had to be ready to play again in the summer. Still having limited mobility I was unsure about if I'd be healthy enough to get back out there. Then I met Patrick and the rest of the staff at Professional Physical Therapy. Even though I was only there for a week, the progress Patrick had made with me felt as if I had been there for over a year. I went a few more times before the summer and by the time the season had started I was ready to get back out there and was able to excel. If it weren't for Patrick and the rest of the staff none of this would've been possible. Everyone there genuinely wants to see you get better and really cares about the patients. Each time I went in I would go through a different series of exercises than the session before allowing it to be more fun and challenging instead of repetitive and boring. Everyone is always in good spirits and even though recovering from an injury can be a rough time, I can truly say I have always looked forward to my PT sessions here. I'd recommend Professional Physical Therapy in Westfield to anyone out there in need of a PT as I can't imagine myself going anywhere else after the great experiences I've had so...
