I truly found my second home at The Bar Method in Westfield. As someone who has never enjoyed working out or stuck with any fitness routine, I never imagined I’d actually look forward to going to a workout class, but this place changed that completely.
From the moment I stepped through the doors, I felt welcomed, supported, and completely free of judgment. The community here is incredibly uplifting, and the instructors are not only knowledgeable but genuinely invested in your growth and well-being.
What sets The Bar Method apart is the energy in the room, whether it’s your first class or your fiftieth, you feel encouraged and empowered by everyone around you. I unfortunately did not join this studio until I was 22 weeks pregnant which was right after my doctor mentioned exercising more than just walking to help with the overall pregnancy. As soon as I walked out of my first class I knew that this was a studio I wanted to be apart of. The instructors have all been great and very knowledgeable when it comes to modifying exercises throughout class and pregnancy. The classes are challenging but low impact for us pregnant mamas! Currently, I’m 34 weeks pregnant and taking 5 classes a week. The first thing I loved was the workout itself. It’s challenging but never the same, so I’m never bored. You work muscles you never even knew you had. My truly favorite thing about Bar Method are the instructors. To ensure proper form, they will make corrections or move your body.
