I ventured into the flavors of Burtons, starting with the Pappardelle Bolognese. The meat sauce tantalized my taste buds with its exquisite seasoning, though a hint more garlic would have elevated it further. However, the noodles proved disappointing, bearing a peculiar texture that hinted at undercooking.

My dining companions offered contrasting experiences. One raved about the Chicken Piccata, praising the al dente noodles even as they critiqued the chicken and breading. Another’s aversion to ciabatta bread was confirmed when they found it unappetizing.

Despite these isolated mishaps, the attentive staff at Burtons deserves special mention. They gracefully inquired about food allergies, a thoughtful gesture I’ve rarely encountered.

Overall, Burtons Bar and Grill offers a promising culinary journey. While my past experience may have had its imperfections, I encourage you to embark on a dining adventure here, especially on an intimate date night. It’s a place where the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service make it worth giving them another chance.

Update: we went back for dinner last night 09/24/2024 - I introduced myself to the staff as requested. It took a while for a server to actually come by and take our drink order. The MGR didn’t company till we were ready to leave which was odd but ok.

Others at my table ordered the sword fish and said it was amazing. I had the chicken risotto which was also amazing the chicken not so appetizing though. Risotto was perfectly cooked. We also got the stuffed zucchini, get this it’s so so good. Also ordered the 7 layer chocolate cake equally very good.

I am going to stick to my original give them a try. Food is good staff is friendly. If I lived here I would definitely be a regular aside from the small things...

We had our rehearsal dinner at Burtons Grill in the end of March 2019. It was a nice restaurant with a Gluten friendly menu which was important to us since several of our guests were Gluten free. I contacted the restaurant over a year out and was initially put in touch with an employee, Lindsay who was the event coordinator. We reserved the date and went over some initial details leaving off with Lindsay stating she would reach out as the event got closer. We were a little more then three months out when I reached out again just to be sure everything was still going as planned. I was contacted by Jessica who was now the new event coordinator. Jessica was awesome and quickly went to work making sure all our details were properly documented. Jessica had shared some important details with us about making the reservation for the private event space that Lindsay never communicated to us. Jessica was very accommodating and did a much better job keeping us in the loop as the event approached. The night of the event the staff did a wonderful job and the food was delicious along with the drinks. Overall, we were glad we had our event at Burtons Grill, we just couldn't give 5 stars based on the lack of communication that initially occurred...

Following up to a review that is more than a year old... Whether visiting Burton's alone or with others, I am never disappointed. Food is tasty, reasonably priced and as usual, the service is outstanding. Tending to sit at the bar, or in the bar area, I am always appreciative of the bar tenders' friendliness, attentiveness and overall demeanor despite being extremely busy with the service bar and other patrons. With so many options to dine in the area recently, I still find my way back to Burton's 2 or 3 times a month. Stopped in again tonight for a couple of beers and an appetizer - and, as always, bartenders Kristin and Jess were smiling, friendly and always made sure that I was "all set". I will continue to frequent this very comfortable location. To me service, comfort, quality and price, in that order, are the recipe for a succesful restaurant. OLDER: Burton's Westford is an establishment I visit 1 or 2 times a month. It is local, food selection is excellent and staff is friendly. Usually eat dinner at the bar or bar area.
