The personnel at this location were excellent. They were ready to help yet not pushy. However I have a problem with the store location as well as the selection. They closed the store that was at Great Northern and moved it to Crocker Park. This is problematic for elderly people because itās hard to get a parking space near the store and it is set back from the main area of Crocker Park. If it were closer to Barnes And Noble it would be great. Now the selection: World Market used to be my favorite store in the world. I have fond memories of coming here with my mother and brother who have both passed away. However the store is completely different than it used to be. Thereās too much open space, itās trying too hard to be like Pier 1, and it doesnāt have the unique finds and gifts that it used to have. I hope they can improve because I fear it will go out of business in the present state. Coming to World Market used to be like an adventure. This one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy absolute favorite place to find outstanding goodies to give at Christmas time or birthdays, unique area rugs and jewelry and even beautifully imported clothing. Being someone who loves to cook I really enjoy their kitchen utensils and dinnerware it's just a joy to walk in there and look at the variety of foods and snacks from all over the world as well as furnishings and decor for the home, the aisles are nice and wide so you're free to just roam where you want and look at the smorgasbord of products they have to offer. The staff has always been knowledgeable of what's in stock or where things are located and they're very happy to help in any circumstances during your visit there. I highly recommend. And for those who celebrate Christmas, nobody has stocking stuffers as unique as...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hadnāt been to a world market since I lived in Virginia. I was so excited to go again. The store itself was fine. It was fun to discover interesting foods etc. the store was clean and organized besides a container of honey leaking into the shelf. What made the experience not great was the vibes from the workers. We were never greeted by Sara when she rang up our item but the people before and after us were. Also felt weird when two other workers came uncomfortably close to me to move a desk without saying āexcuse meā or anything. If I hadn't moved immediately from where I was standing they wouldnāt have been able to move the desk. Maybe itās an Ohio thing. Iām not used to people being like this and Iām not sure that I...
