Had an absolute blast with my family at Heras in the mall. We had just returned from Halloween Horror Nights for our 5th year so we have seen some incredible houses. This year we got caught in the rain while waiting for some of the houses so we appreciated this haunt inside the mall where it was warm and dry. We also purchase the HHN fast passes + the ticket price which puts HHN around 400$ per ticket so we felt the 30$ was fair for the houses. We loved all 3 and the line without fast passes was around 45 minutes. From the entrance to the themed houses to the gift shop and hallways we loved every minute of it. They had a good. amount of security roaming around the mall keeping some of the rougher elements in check at the later hours. There was a good bit of fog but not overtly done we thought, we loved the fog scene with the green lasers and the scare actor under the green lasers. All in all we will return and we hope to check out the other haunt in the school tonight...which happens to be my old high school. Nice work on these, the mall and community hopefully appreciate the effort, talent and work that goes into these...
Read moreHera's Nightmare is relatively new to the haunt scene, but the way their show runs, you'd think that they were ten years deep. The actors are engaging, the scares are dynamic and the sets are absolutely incredible. Some scenes genuinely tricked us into believing that we stumbled into another world. Best of all, no two experiences at Hera's are alike - because they're always adjusting, finessing and in some cases completely rebuilding the attractions! We've visited three times so far and experienced everything from a Transylvanian cemetery to a twisted rendition of Lewis Carroll's Wonderland story. With the 2025 expansion, they now have an immersive photo experience that is almost as engaging as the haunt itself and they're able to offer food and roaming characters on their 'midway'. If you're a fan of the spooky and the scary - in or out of the Halloween season - you owe it to yourself to check Hera's...
Read moreExtremely impressive location, visited because I knew two of the actors and left with my heart in my mouth and up in flames with how on-point the atmospheres were across all three legs of the attraction. The sets are all eerie in their own right but the actors really made them shine--it's a nonstop barrage of talent that's out to make you scream and shout and damned if it doesn't work! The costumes, the makeup, all the gesticulations and shrill screams, it's completely worth checking out and I can't recommend it enough.
The one thing they could serve to work on is timing when the groups enter--I understand this is a huge logistical problem to solve (hence it not affecting my rating) but we ran into the group ahead of us in both of the last two attractions, both times followed swiftly by the group behind us. I am positive that I'll be returning next year and I hope that there's a better system in...
