This was my first suit purchasing experience from a Men's Wearhouse and I was simply blown away by the customer service I received. As soon as I walked in to the store a gentleman by the name of Gene Atkins Jr. asked if I needed help. I told him what I was in there for and he stuck with me the entire time. He showed me the suits on sale right off the bat even though I didn't ask, which I appreciate very much; a shark would have tried to sell me the most expensive suit regardless of having some on sale in the store. Gene was superbly knowledgeable in suit etiquette, knew exactly how they were supposed to fit, and taught me more than I expected to learn that day; he even supplied me with some valuable tips for my interview! And the great customer service doesn't end there. He helped me purchase ties, socks, and some shirts that match well with the suit. I also had mentioned to him earlier that I am a California resident and was just visiting family in Colorado, he told me that they could have it shipped and delivered to my nearest Men's Wearhouse just in time for my interviews which were two weeks later. As I purchased the suit and all the items he made notes in the system and said everything will be good to go. Two days later I had made my journey back to California and received an email that the suit was finished being tailored and ready for pickup. I was concerned that they had forgotten to ship the suit out. I called later that day and a different employee answered, read the notes that was entered into the system and was 100% sure that everything was going according to the notes, but I could call back later when Gene works and just make sure with him. Just to be safe, I did call again, spoke with Gene, and like the other employee said, he was getting the suit ready to be shipped out. He then told me that he would be shipping the suit with FEDEX. Overnight! Extremely faster than I expected. And he even gave me the shipping number. The next day I went into the MW in California that we had it shipped to and picked up my suit. They told me they pressed it in accordance with Gene's notes left with the suit. It looked fantastic. I could not be more pleased with my first suit purchasing experience. I had low expectations going into it due to previous reviews, but I am so glad I took them with a grain of salt. If I ever find myself needing a suit while visiting my family in Colorado again, I will surely be coming back to this Men's Wearhouse.
If you're reading this Gene, thank you so very much. And I apologize if I said "That's cool." More than you could handle. But this experience was exactly...
Read moreWe just left the Westminster store, and while we did buy a suit, I regret spending money at Mensâs Warehouse . We needed a suit for my son for prom. We were greeted quickly, but the salesmen seemed inconvenienced by us. We were hoping for an explanation of different suits, including style, quality, price. Instead he measured my son, handed him a jacket, then pants. Told us blue was a good color and Calvin Klein was a good brand. He did not offer any other information. I asked about seeing others and he said that the suit was good and versatile. My son picked a shirt he liked and the salesmen said âoh that isnât what I would choose,â making us feel dumb for liking that shirt. Then he directed him to another shirt. When we asked which ones would go, he said âwell there might be some fun ones but we donât carry those.â I then wanted my son to try on the whole suit with the shirt. The salesmen seemed very irritated by that. After we went to the dressing room the salesmen did not interact with us again. I didnât get his name. He was training another young man today, and that young man seemed pleasant and helpful, unlike his trainer.
Orlin helped us on the dressing room and steamed the shirt for us. That was our only positive interaction at the store.
I am appalled by the rudeness and aloofness of the salesperson. We were spending $500 on a suit, and I was treated like I was completely a nuisance.
Had we not been in a time crunch, we would not have purchased a suit today. I will not be back to this store.
I had not planned to post a review, but rather deal with the store directly. After talking to a manager at the store, I am even...
Read moreWe came here two years ago, we were attended by a female...Very good service but,... Two weeks ago we came back and we found horrible service!!!! The obese and the skinny guys are the worse! Along with the older man who wears glasses.
Today we came back to pick up our rental suits and one of the orders was completely wrong! Thanks to Damian it was fixed. Unfortunately, he's moving to another location. DAMIAN is the only person who gave us an EXCELLENT SERVICE, YES, DAMIAN IS THE ONLY PERSON THERE who knows the meaning of customer service and respect. Thank you DAMIAN.
The rest of the male team is VERY RUDE. This place is very bad, very disappointing, these guys are super rude!!! Don't go there!!!!
Update: something else that happened was that one of the employees said that the manager will talk to me, but the manager ignored me, when I complained about it, all the employees argued with me, literally circling me, intimidating me, ( fours guys around me and my son with Autism, intimidating us!!) also with undertones of misogyny and racism, one of them âtrying to speak a few words in Spanishâ and telling me that they needed to help another client who was paying for the serviceâ⌠Even though my service was already paid in full since the day I ordered, and I was at the store before the client(who was caucasian )ALL IN FRONT OF THE MANAGER WHO DID NOT DO ANYTHING THEM SUPPORTING HIS EMPLOYEES TO TREAT HISPANIC CUSTOMERS IN THAT WAY. The corporate needs to do something about it!! That's not acceptable!! đ If they have cameras there, they could review the footage and see what happened but no one cares.
Donât go to this place ever unless you like being talked down to...
