sent my husband to Michael’s to buy some yarn for me as i was sick he purchased 8 skeins of yarn in 2 different colors threw out the receipt or lost receipt i just went back to just exchange the 4 for 4 of the right color . the manager a young girl with a mask whose name i have now found out was Melissa she was so rude said she cannot due a even exchange even though it was the exact same yarn just in a different color i was would have to pay 3.00 more for each yarn because the color was different and it would mess up their inventory ! asked why can’t u go in and change the color on your inventory said i can’t do that ! their inventory is always incorrect as i ordered on line would say there are 10 u get there there is 1 . i said i should not have to pay more money for the same yarn in just a different color she said i would have to and starting waving bye to me ! Said bye bye don’t come again ! i am a senior citizen ! i will never go to Michael’s again the store was half empty with no people in there everything is self check out had to hunt down this rude manager to be treated like i was a piece of dirt ! i am contacting Michaels corp office as well what she did was not right to me it anyone...

Several young staff who dont seem to have leadership or know what they are doing but the worst was the male employee w long dyed blonde hair I did not get his name.... something needs to be done because he has no business working in customer service. The RUDEST individual. I witnessed him get upset and loudly sigh at a customer simply because she wanted to return an item. I dealt with him 2 days in a row because they did not have my pickup order ready when I went originally. Day one after he didnt even acknowledge my existence while I was speaking to him then had an attitude with me. I remained friendly and wrote it off as he was having a bad day. Today he was even worse !!! Made no acknowledgement I was speaking to him and walked away then asked me a question from 10 ft away, was unable to hear my response as I was moving closer then got irritated more when I spoke up to repeat myself. I wanted to make my older sister a charm bracelet for her birthday and I’m an artistic person but I’ve never made a bracelet before. So I got the bracelet and charms to make the bracelet and I found out that the charms wouldn’t fit. I found a very thin wire and tried using that, it kept breaking. So the next day I called Michaels, 14x in a span of 20 minutes. No one picked up. I was so frustrated. Even my mom tried calling them at the same time I did and they still didn’t pick up. So we called the corporate customer service and they were useless. They said that they would call us back once they get a store manager. They didn’t. So my mom and I have to now go to the store to get this resolved. It is so frustrating. All for a simple question, do I need to put crafting wire on the charms to attach it to the bracelet?
