Fiona is phenomenal and the whole salon is wonderful! I have bright high maintenance pink hair and prefer a somewhat specific cut. I usually bleach and dye my own roots but i let them go for too long and it was too overwhelming of a task to do alone. I also have anxieties about letting other people do my color due to a past negative experience, and my hair color is very signature to me. When I asked Fiona if she could bleach my roots, allow me to color it myself at home, and come back for a cut and style after, I was expecting to hear a no, as many people want to do everything themselves. Thankfully, she totally understood and was super accommodating to me. My first service was a bleaching of very overgrown root, and the second service was a cut and style. Everything was lovely and Fiona gave me exactly what i was looking for; a very shaggy wolf style cut with curtain bangs and lots of layers that i can style many different ways. The cut is probably the best I’ve ever gotten. I can do whatever styles i want, and it seems she must have kept my wavy texture and love for volume in mind because when i let it dry naturally now, it looks like i spent an hour styling it. It has enhanced my natural curl/wave pattern and just looks phenomenal. The pricing was amazing as well. At my old salon, any hair bleaching was charged as an “all over” and was always above $300. Fiona fought her way through 5-6 inches of dark, thick root and changed bleaches for my scalp application to make the end product completely even (which I’ve never had done in the past) and the price was $150. Less than half the price for a better and more efficient version of what I used to get done. Which leads me to how high quality the services are and how it seems to take much less time than other stylists I’ve worked with. The services were still done with meticulous attention to detail but Fiona is just so efficient, I got out of the chair both times way earlier than I expected and looking perfect. Watching Fiona style my hair the way she did after the cut gave me so many tips and tricks to do it better on myself as well.
