This is a new store and this is the first time I've been in there. When I go to my other Nordstrom rack it is always packed. This one I noticed wasn't and I think maybe I see why. I went to go buy a piece of luggage. Every single piece had some kind of lock on it so you couldn't open it up to look at the inside. I pushed along seven of them to the front counter and asked if she could open them so I could see them. It went downhill from there. I never got help. Ended up leaving. As I passed her I even said I'm just going to go to my other store so never mind on opening those and she looked at me and didn't even say a word. Is this what customer service has come to? This is a big inconvenience for people when they want to check items out. If it has to do with a theft issue then just have them check the inside before they sell it to someone. You shouldn't keep them out of it especially if you're not able to open them so people can decide which ones they want. It feels crazy I have to state the obvious. Will not be back to the store ever. The one on 59 in Naperville will always be my go-to. They are always incredible there. They actually even go above and beyond. I don't know that the store is going to be around long. I purchased a pair of jeans for $86 which I needed to return 2 days later.. when I went to make the return the manager informed me that the price tag (still attached to the jeans) did not match the jeans. This was correct as the price tag showed a different waist size/fit. This was missed by me as ALL of the jeans on the rack are $86.
The manager then tells me that the jeans are actually only worth $34 (so they over charged me by $52).. If I wanted a refund for the price I PAID, I would need to bring in the pair of jeans associated with the tag which do not exist. I was rudely advised I need to come back the next day to work it out with the GM.
The next day, the GM acknowledges the same issue but continues to question why the tag didnāt match. After going back and forth she rudely gave me my money back with no apology for the issues THEY caused.
