A lot of the other reviews are talking about estate sale services. This Google listing is specifically about the physical consignment shop located in Town Square Wheaton - which has some GREAT furniture. The entire store was full of tables, armoires, drawers, sets, couches, and desks that I would've loved to take home that minute. Lots of solid wood, heavy furniture. There were also a lot of decor items scattered throughout the store - they had a sale on their Christmas decor as well. When I walked in I was immediately greeted and the handful of employees were all nice and smiled at me. If I ever win the lottery I'm definitely coming back here to furnish my entire house!

This is a nice high end vintage thrift store. It is a small store but they curate their products well. They had nice used couches in excellent condition ranging from $700-1300, accent chairs $250-500. It's more of a boutique/antique/cosignment shop than a thrift store, but if you are shopping for unique or rare items at a higher price point, it's definitely worth a visit.

Emmit helped me big time with a lounge chair, Judy helped me find whatever I may have been looking for, Shawn helped me with electronics at the Estate Sale & Marge wrung it all up to perfection! What a great team to handle an expensive Estate with many quality items! I would hire or buy from them again in a heartbeat! Incredible sales & honesty!!

First, I recommend you looking at their Yelp Reviews. I want to make sure my experience with this store reaches as many people as possible as I do not want it happening to anyone else.

My Yelp Review: On July 8th, 2022, I was threatened to get shot at by Judith Martin. I was in Illinois to just enjoy some vacation time. I had a TERRIBLE experience at this store. Was reading other reviews and I am not surprised. I have always loved going antique shopping, especially for jewelry and just admiring the history of each piece. My friends and I were exploring downtown Wheaton and we happened to find this store. I wanted to look at a ring that caught my eye. Judith Martin, the worker who assisted me already had a passive attitude and rolled her eyes saying "sure". On top of that, she and her coworker of a daughter were already giving my friends disgusted stares. That sure wasn't a good way to interact with first-time customers at the store. Felt UNWELCOMED the whole entire time. She had told me to "back off" while she opened the glass cabinet. I had already had the intuition that she was rude and disrespectful. Of course, I politely step aside as she unlocked the door. She proceeded to emphasize how "expensive" the ring was and how "it wouldn't fit" me as she handed me the item. The glass door was about to hit her and I tried to stop it. I thought I was being nice. She IMMEDIATELY changed her tone of voice and said "don't touch my door. If you touch it again I will get my GUN and SHOOT you in the face". That was in no way my intention and her comment caught me way off guard.

I get how it could have been simple miscommunication but it is NOT an excuse for her to say what she had said to me.

She then proceeded to talk to me like she didn't just threaten to HARM me. What caused her to assume and even say such a thing? Don't go to that place unless you feel comfortable being judged. Hard-earned money and TIME could be spent...

What I experienced is a classic insult and humilation by the owner. I am an Asian woman. Hobby is antique hunting. On August 12, 2023, I went to this estate sale in Lake Forest. The sale was organized by this company. I saw a piece of furniture and offered my price. The lady in orange rejected my offer. Later when i was still in the same house and the lady saw me there and she gladly gave the furniture to another gentleman at lower price (I offered $500 and she rejected it. But gave to someone else at 400). Knowing that I offered higher price, knowing I was on the same spot, she gave the piece to someone else, this is a huge insult to me. I went to asked her why she rejected my higher offer but rather sold the furniture with lower price to someone else, as this is just against a good business ethics. She claimed that "He spent $10000 today on this sale". This is obviously not true and confirmed as lie by the man himself. She then got mad and asked me to leave. She also called the police on me. The police had sympathy on me for how I was treated by this business owner. I am always respectful to people but I also won't take insult and humiliation.

So in many cases, business owners have to make the best business decision for themselves. As a business woman myself, totally understand and respect it. However, you still need to respect ALL your customers. Every customer comes in with the expectation to be treated equally and fairly. Accepting a lower and late offer in front of the initial buyer is considered affront. Even worse, when asked for an explaination, simply making out a obvious lie is irrespectful.

House owners out there, pls be careful of this company and this lady. Pls don't let this company represent your beautiful house and your precious belongs. I feel bad for this specific house I went to and for those customers who were rudely treated and left their...

Unfortunately we hired this company for an estate sale. The first meeting caused us to become comfortable. That all changed once we signed the contract. Judith was arrogant, caustic, dismissive, condescending and dishonest to say the least. She rushed through the preparation because she booked another sale and changed our dates which no longer included a weekend. She promised to protect our marble floors and white carpet. She did neither. Her list of sale amounts differed from what my neighbors showed me what they paid with receipts. This was another proof of her dishonesty. She "gifted" many of my items to her helpers. I have proof of this on a security camera at my door with audio. She sends her charity people to clean out. They arrive in a rented truck with no designation of any charity. They are directed by her what items to take and what to discard. I found this whole process very suspicious. I wish I had learned from her many negative reviews. She made a very stressful time a complete...
