World Market — Local services in White Marsh

I love the concept of World Market. I’ve shopped there for many, many years over multiple states. I have always found cool items and often decent bargains. I was surprised when i recently shopped at White Marsh, that the same online coupon is not offered in the store. I’ve worked in retail for 45 years. This is a very inhospitable way to treat your customers and it makes it difficult on your colleagues. The staff there really tried to accommodate me, but it was complicated and as a result, one of my items didn’t make it into my bag. Fortunately, they didn’t charge me for it either, but it was something I really wanted for a fundraiser basket. My bill was $89 and that is with $10 off. I had a wonderful experience picking out several outdoor furniture pieces. A big thanks to Linda, Stephanie, Jules, Barisara, and Chaz for taking a special interest in helping me and providing an extraordinary level of service. Visiting a store with such friendly, warm, and knowledgeable faces makes shopping a breeze. The store was clean and well organized. World Market products appear to be well made and stylish without the high price. The storefront is beautiful and rests among other high-end stores in a very boutique mall.
