11/2018.. Before the in home repair these guys were a class act. So professional over the phone. Well the repair was done and so went the professionalism. Shortly after the repair was done while in the warranty period I called them to report an issue with my TV. The father immediately starts telling me that the TV worked when they left. Before I even got to the part where I told him what was actually wrong he was already defensive. He told me his son, Zach, made sure that the TV worked before he left. I agreed that the picture on the TV was fine however my smart apps we're lagging. He told me to call Samsung and I did. Samsung remotely logged into my TV and ran multiple Diagnostics. They determined that the part A1 TV replaced was defective. I have called and left multiple messages and they will not call me back. I wasted $400 with these guys and hopefully you won't make the same mistake. Unfortunately in this area they are one of two authorized Samsung repair people. I am going to call Samsung and make one hell of a stink about them. My TV is going to have to be repaired again when I was assured that the part was under warranty. These guys will say anything to get your money but they will not support their work. Buyer beware. See the half circle on the womans face? Its because the tv is frozen and "buffering". I have the TV hardwired to comcast. My internet is 100mbps. I'm considering small claims court. The movies don't play.. the audio doesn't line up with the video. This wasn't the issue with my TV until they changed the Main board. Maybe a judge should decide. I won't let this go so easily. You're going to spend over $400 defending this case in court. Update: they have agreed to replace the part which is still under warranty. Update 1-11-19 So they just came out again. After all the pushback they gave me and me having to write this horrible review they did come back with the warranty part. After telling me that the issue that I was experiencing was likely caused by another part and a bunch of other blow offs, it turns out the part they replaced was faulty and I am now enjoying my TV without flaw. I wish my warranty request was honored without pushback so that I could have given a five star review initially. The part being faulty was not their fault at all. Well I will give them one more star for fixing it finally. Next time guys don't blow your customers off. Especially when you find out that they knew what they were talking about! And for the record the son, Zach, was a Class Act throughout the entire transaction. Whoever they have answering their phone, a female, whose name I didn't get was also always professional.

My 1 year old LG 77 stopped working. Contacted LG proper as the Best Buy geek wouldn’t help. Typical for Geeks. LG provided 3 repair services in my area. Upon some research and review, I called A-1 TV Sales & Service located in Maryland. Very responsive and knowledgeable. Two technicians came over and within minutes knew what the issue was and repaired and back in operation in less than an hour. Best darn company I’ve dealt with in a long time. This company provides great, honest and professional service that you don’t see/get anymore. Thank you A-1!!!

Jeff did a great job repairing my LG OLED. I was nervous about the process but he walked me through each step and was extremely careful. He solved the issue quickly then stayed to get everything plugged back in and even helped level the TV. Jeff is a 2nd generation owner and provides excellent service!

Avoid A1 at all costs! My TV has a well known coil whine issue. It occurs when displaying bright colors.I put a repair order in, in March.A-1's owner came.He said he couldn't hear it(even though my partner and I could hear it clearly). He said it was likely the power strip. So we changed power strips and the noise was still there. He then said it likely had something to do with the room/cables & I explained we had moved the previous couple of weeks and that it was doing this there too.He then said "well then it's likely not the TV" but something plugged into it, he pointed out the Fios router, asking me to get closer to it.I explained we had Xfinity at the last place and it still did it there, like I just said.We unplugged everything from the TV including the power. Then just plugging the power in we turned the TV back on and as soon as a bright image came on from one of the LG wallpapers, the noise predictably happened again. So he said he would swap out the power supply and that should fix it(even though he just said it was the power strip, cables, other devices plugged into the TV).Of course, this did not fix it.So I put in a second repair request.Person #2 comes out and says he CAN hear it.After looking everything over he said since we replaced the power supply and that it's a coil issue, that I need LG to replace the unit for me since there's nothing else A-1 can do.So I called LG as instructed me and told them what #2 said and they said he never sent that information in.So we spent a couple MONTHS trying to get A-1 to cooperate and send that information over and they NEVER got back to me or LG.So LG said they would type all of this up and send A-1 out a THIRD time to get a note saying they cannot repair it and LG needs to replace it.Person #1 is sent back out again.Again, just like the first time, he tries all of the "take a shot at whatever it could be other than the TV" excuses.Even though he is just supposed to be saying he can't fix it and it needs to be replaced. He finally says he will let LG know and leaves. This is where I am forced to take legal action. In his report, he DID NOT write that they simply cannot fix it and it needs to be replaced. He pulled YET ANOTHER RANDOM excuse from his rear end and blamed ME, saying that we keep it TOO HOT AND HUMID in my apartment and that it's causing the noise.WHAT!?Our apartment stays at 68º-72° and normal to low humidity.I have a smart thermostat that will show you SINCE I HAVE OWNED MY TV that the temperature and humidity have been WELL within the Owner's Manual temperature suggestions.I also have a decibel reader that very clearly shows the TVs high pitched screaming noise that Person #1 claims to not hear. After over 20 calls with LG they asked A-1 to come out and take a look again and A-1 refused. In July, my tinnitus(permanent ringing of the years)drastically worsened when I was simply sitting on the couch, out of nowhere.I suspect the high pitched screaming into my ears from the TV has aggravated it permanently so I cannot even turn the TV on anymore because of this.I am currently working with my ENT, who also thinks it's very possible this is the source and could have been prevented if the noise was removed sooner.

All that was needed was a simple "well we can't fix this so let's get you a replacement".After six months the only thing left is legal & media action.I will now be bringing my over 20 recorded calls to LG, proof of them repeatedly trying to reach A-1, my decibel reader and readings that contradict Person #1's claims, my smart thermostat information proving again that Person #1's claims are ridiculous and pulled out of thin air, and my doctor's notes to court and every local news source and I will even attempt the larger national "On Your Side" and "Consumer Watch" segments.Every format that can get a review and description of this will also get this write up.The absolute hell this has been is indescribable when it should've been handled completely differently...

BEWARE. NEVER AGAIN. I wish I would have read the other reviews about Jeff W…the person my husband and I had to deal with on yelp because I would have never hired them to do a simple job on our washing machine. This has been the most unprofessional business to ever work with. I would 100% describe the experience and behavior as combative since the moment Jeff walked through my door. I wasn't going to mention Jeffs behavior towards me the entire time he was in my home to my husband or write any reviews but after giving us a hard time about pricing and the conversation they had with my husband over the phone, here we are.

When I first contacted the company, the scheduler I spoke to over the phone was very very pleasant to work with. I told them what I needed and they gave me a price. we agreed to the price and continued with scheduling. They were kind and overall professional. However, they did not ask me if our units were stacked or mentioned anything about the price being an extra $50 if the units were stacked otherwise I would have not agreed to hire them. They told me the technichian (JEFF) would be arriving between 11am-1pm. Jeff did not arrive until 2:06 pm (I have his arrival and departure recorded on my security camera and doorbell camera) I tried to call the company FOUR times at 1pm to see if they were showing up and there was NO ANSWER. When Jeff arrived, he was completely rude and unprofessional the entire time and made me feel uncomfortable until he left. I tried to remain calm and kind so that he would calm down since I could tell he was someone with a bad attitude and temper and I was alone with my NEWBORN and my husband wasn’t home. When Jeff was leaving he told me they were going to send me an invoice with the price we were given so that we could pay. He showed me the $325 invoice they would be sending and then left. He did not mention the extra $50 at all. I was going to let it go and not mention the way I was treated and the experience I had to my husband but after they called me to collect payment at 5:30pm on a Friday after they were closed while I was out with my family and after they tried to charge me an extra $50 for a mistake they made that was never mentioned to me before I agreed to hire them for the job I decided to mention everything to my husband in detail. When they called at that time I told them I was out with my family and I was unable to have this conversation at that time. I told them I would try to call back IF I COULD to discuss the payment. They mentioned someone would be there until 6:30 and I had until then to call back. Since I was out with my family I was unavailable to call back until 7:00 by that time it was too late so my husband called them as soon as he got a chance first thing in morning on Monday even though he was also at work. He was frustrated to hear how they tried calling me a liar to cover up their mistake and how unprofessional I was treated for the hour and twenty minutes they were at our home and frustrated to hear about the price increase so he tried to bring up the company’s mistake and instead of them owning up to it and apologizing they gave him a hard time also.

Just for a future reference and for common courtesy, don't treat your customers with an attitude after your company makes a mistake, your the experts, do your job, that's what you get paid to do. If we were the experts we wouldn't be calling you. I hope your attitude and the way my husband and I were treated since the moment you walked through our door was worth it. It is unbelievable that this is the way you run your company. DO NOT...
