TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I placed an order back in March for an event that was cancelled last minute due to COVID. I had the latest pickup time possible on Friday and tried to call Thursday evening to cancel my order. The girl who answered the phone said they were technically closed due to reduced hours that were not depicted online. I was told to call first thing in the morning and cancel my order. I follow her instructions precisely and call right at 10:00am when they opened to cancel my order and ask for a refund, and was curtly greeted with “Oh, they’re already made and I can’t give you a refund if they’ve already been made.” My pickup isn’t for hours and my event wasn’t even until Saturday. These would’ve been well over a day old. After insisting I followed the directions given to me the day before by an employee, and expecting a little understanding considering the current pandemic climate with events being cancelled everywhere, I was finally offered store credit. Okay, fine. Here’s July and I decide to take advantage of this store credit which is the only reason I’m returning to deal with these people. I place an order for my father’s birthday for Saturday July 18th. While someone searched for some record of my store credit, a girl took my order. I didn’t want to use the whole credit but was told I couldn’t redeem a partial amount and would have to order more or forfeit the rest - a concept I have never encountered at any other business offering store credit, but again, FINE. I use the whole credit and place the same order I did in March to pick up Saturday, July 18th, my dad’s birthday. I receive an incomplete voicemail on July 13th and after piecing it together and returning the call was informed that my order was for last Saturday, the 11th. After I assured him that was a mistake, and this was in no way my fault, I was met over and over with the phrase “According to our records...” and “Our records show...”. Of course they show that. YOU put them in there wrong. I finally asked the man I was speaking with for a manager and he informed me he was one. After gaslighting me, insinuating I don’t know my father’s birth date, and putting words in my mouth for almost 10 min, he offered to have the owner call me in the next day or so. Although this seemed like a simple fix a manager could’ve handled independently, I obliged and waited for a call. Yolanda, the owner and I spoke very briefly the next day and no apology was issued, no question as to her employees’ decorum or lack of service to their customers. She merely asked when I could pick the order up on the 18th. I told her I could be there when they opened at 10:00am. She then says “But you have to come pick them up this time.” THIS TIME. Af if I’m the one who makes a habit of frequently mishandling my order. “We’re not going to call you. We’re not going to do any more store credit.” For the record, I never wanted credit in the first place, just my refund. I reminded her that I was ALWAYS planning on picking up my order on the 18th, the day I made the order for, not the day they made up. Fortunately, I did not run into any issues during pick-up although I was very nervous to walk in, expecting the same hostility and the regular mishandling of yet another order. If it’s so easy to believe that I misspoke, then why is it so hard to believe I was misheard. I would think that a business that caters to parties and large events would be doing everything they could to retain their customers during a pandemic which makes these types of events scarce. I am appalled at their customer service on all levels of management and they can rest assured that I and anyone I know, will not be spending anymore money at this establishment. Read moreI've gone to Nothing Bundt Cakes since they first opened and in other states, I was thrilled they had one in KS. Now, not so much. I was enjoying my daughter's birthday party and received a call telling me I needed to pick up the cake because they were closing earlier than the time listed online which was 10 mins from they time they called me. I called them back as I'm rushing to pick it up and having to leave a movie early with the girls still watching this movie without me, and they said "oh on we didn't want you to leave your daughters in the movies, we just wanted to close early". Okay. So what else am I supposed to do? I paid for the cake, I need it today. Closing within 10 minutes of calling me is madness. Read moreI love these cakes. Each flavor is wonderful. Today I ordered an 8" cake for same day pick up. I scheduled to pick it up on my lunch break as I don't have much time. When I arrived it was a little chaotic in the store. They couldn't locate my order in a timely manner. They put the wrong flag on the cake and offered to fix it right away. However I didn't have time so she just gave me the flag and I'll replace it when I get home. I didn't want to unwrap the packaging. When I brought it back to work, I noticed it had the wrong card showing what kind of cake it was. I ordered a chocolate cake and the tag said Carrot.
