I ordered over $2500 on some couches back on June 26th. They said that it would take up to 7 weeks, so this would be August 14th at the latest. Come September and no furniture so I give them a call and get the classic run around consisting of long holds and transfers to nonexistent sales personnel.Today is Sep 13th and my living room still looks like it was beset by marauding thieves as it sets empty. My poor veteran husband has been forced to binge watch Court TV sitting on a folding chair. They never touch base or express any empathy for what had been an extremely trying time with the pandemic and all. I called again and now the woman says it might be in Texas by October 14th! She said that all of hillbillies who make the products in North Carolina are sitting on unemployment because it is more lucrative than tacking together couches and chairs for Havertys. All in all a regretful decision to shop with this outfit. I think if they don't reach out with some compensation that I will cancel the order and shop with a reliable online retailer, that is if they give me my money back that they have been sitting on interest free since June.
UPDATE 9/27/20: We have been contacted by the general manager twice. He has apologized for our inconvenience, but he has been powerless to give us any discount. He has even had the audacity to not offer to remove $295 delivery fee. So far, life goes on without any place to sit. There is no customer satisfaction to be found shopping...

I purchased furniture with them last year - i love my furniture BUT was misinformed about one issue. I live in the country and was a little concerned about purchasing a light colored love seat and versed my concerns to the sales lady. She said that if you purchase the Guardsmen protection plan which is about $500.00 dollars they will come to your home and clean your furniture for you when it gets soiled. No problem. Well i contacted the company and they have so many rules and clauses it blows your mind AND that everyday soiling is NOT covered. So i was misinformed by the sales representative regarding Guardsman. Read moreI purchased two couches and a chair. The couches came, one was broken and the wrong color. I called they said they would bring the right color when it they get another in stock. About 3 months later. They showed up with the wrong couch again. Haverty's refuse to give us what we bought. So we have a delivered couch that is broken and the wrong color. I know another family who has had the same issues. Obviously there a lot of fake reviews for this place. People be extremely cautious when buying from them!
Update: I called Havertys on 5/30. Spoke with the store manager. He said he would personally call me back today (6/2) with the plan on how they are going to fix the problem. Which did not happen.
