This place seemed nice at first but my grandmother suffered from neglect in this place. She went in to recover from a fall and was there almost six weeks. She suffered from two UTI’s in that time because no one would come and take her to the bathroom when she called. There were times my mother visited and she had not been bathed in several days. My mom noticed the staff on their cell phones quite a bit.
When my sister and I flew in to help welcome my grandmother home on her release day, she was sent home with no wheelchair because they forgot to order one for her in time. Thank God my sister is a physical therapist and knew how to transfer her and thank goodness my grandmother was small.
Grandma was home for one night and we noticed a huge bed sore that had developed because she had not been moved enough. She had to be rushed to the ER the following day because she had a third UTI and unfortunately, she couldn’t recover from it. We are grateful that she was able to pass at home and not this terrible place but such neglect should be considered elder abuse.

Read moreMom recently moved to Oxford and absolutely loves it! The apartments are very nice, and the staff has been amazing -- even when she was on the waiting list before moving there! After going on visits to other facilities in the area, we found that Oxford Villas is MUCH cheaper than other independent living options around here. It's in a great part of town with shopping nearby, and they have a shuttle that will take her where ever she needs to go. We feel so much better moving her away from a home with stairs, and now to her apartment. And we like that there are options with different levels of care with Oxford, with Villas being independent living, and Grand being assisted living and memory care. We have visited both facilities, and we are very impressed with the level of care they both offer. We (she)...
Read moreI am so thankful for Oxford Grand! My dearest friend was in need of memory care. The staff at Oxford Grand made this happen. They have met so many needs for her! They keep the residents busy and interact with them. I have spent a lot of time there, visiting my friend. There has never been a time I have not seen the care staff interacting with the residents. At the same time, they try to keep the resident as independent as they can be. There are so many wonderful, fun activities and programs to help keep them engaged. The staff is always available for any questions, from the care staff to the business staff. My friend has been there for almost 2 months. I feel a great weight taken off of me, knowing she is safe and happy. Thank you, Oxford Grand for your passion for our loved ones, going above and...
