I started working with Craig, the owner of Auto Sound, after a pretty disappointing experience at Stereo Installs in Mentor. Wish I had found Auto Sound first, but live and learn. As someone who’s super into music (and a former not-so-great musician), I wanted to build a system that would give me chills every time I turned it on—something that would still feel amazing 10 years from now. Unfortunately, after spending over $10,000 with Stereo Installs, I was let down big time. The quality of work wasn’t there, and the customer service was even worse. A friend who also had a bad experience with Stereo Installs pointed me to Auto Sound, and from my very first call with Craig, I could tell this place was different. Instead of trying to upsell me on things I didn’t need, Craig actually took the time to explain what would work best for me and why. For the first time, I felt like I actually understood where my money was going. Craig gave me his full attention every time we talked. Stellar customer service! Chrysler could not upgrade the first generation touch screen console on my 2017 Pacifica to be compatible with Car Play. I decided it was worth upgrading the console and Auto Sound Security and Access was recommended to me by both the dealership and my long time auto mechanic. I am glad I followed their advice and called Auto Sound. Matt was my first contact and ordered the component upgrade and scheduled the installation once the part arrived. The new system worked perfectly but the assigned home and work buttons were a challenge to program. I asked if there was an online manual and there was not. I was told to stop back at my convenience and they would step me through the process. Craig helped me figure it out. It was not intuitive, as sometimes happens, and he sat in my car for as long as it took to get everything the way I wanted it. And after everything was programmed, he wanted to make sure everything worked, so we spent time running through the apps to get me acquainted. Good morning, Bryan. As you know, I have been coming to Auto Sound since 1996 for various automotive audio tweaks and installs.

I just wanted to let you know I am EXTREMELY pleased with the way our most recent collaboration turned out. The rearview mirror with backup camera works exactly like you described it would. And, the Bluetooth audio sound quality is perfectly acceptable, although I will have to increase the volume and punch the bass up a bit. The hidden GPS speaker is plenty loud now as well. I can hear the navigation at freeway speed with the music cranked up no matter what audio source is playing.

I went for a drive this past weekend, and everything works like I want it to.
