Food Lion — Local services in Wilson

It was cleaner than other grocery stores that I've been in within a 5 block radius of the Food Lion that I went shopping in, and I might add that the young man who was the cashier was very kind and considerate because we were having trouble getting my U-Card to pay for what few groceries I had gotten and I still ended up having to put half of the stuff that I had gotten back because of my U-Card not wanting to pay for things that it had been paying for ever since I've had it!! So yeah, that young man running the cash register was very very kind and helpful even with all of the chaos going on with me having to put over half of my groceries back. I don't know that young man's name but he deserves a raise just because of how he hung in there and kept his cool when if it had of been me I'm not so sure I could have handled it as well as he did, and I'm probably at least 45 years...

So after ordering my groceries online I had to go in the store after waiting for my order because they sent me a text saying no one was available to bring me my groceries. So I went in to talk to someone about the issue and wend I went to the counter to get greeter. A young lady turned around didn’t say hi or nothing just asked for someone else to help me.. that is what really got me... I was fine until that happened..so the lady that finally greeted me told me that someone will be out there shortly to load my car up.. apparently he didn’t hear his phone off to signal him to go out there. Very nice guy very apologetic but poor...

Never have a good experience here. Cashiers are usually talking to each other while waiting on customers. They will stop ringing you up to carry on their conversation. One was yelling at an elderly gentleman the other day to put his number in on the keypad for his mvp discount. He had no idea what she meant. She didnt tell him it was his phone number. I was going to do the survey but now you have to do some marketing deal to do the survey. Shouldn't matter what kind of cat treats I buy to tell them this...
