Not worth it. GO TO DENNYS 6 MINUTES DOWN THE ROAD!!!!! From when I pulled into the parking lot the girl inside was staring at me and she stared at me up until I sat down. The only clean place to sit was at the stand so I sat down and there was already a menu there so she didn’t speak to me., She then came up maybe 5 minutes later with a paper in her hand and just stared at me so I placed my order and waited for 25 minutes before leaving. No silverware, no drinks were served after I gave her my order. There was another boy working with her and he stepped out to smoke, the entire time he was outside she kept saying “I don’t know where he’s at but he needs to come clean off these tables and cook these people food” she then started cleaning food off the counter with the fork in the picture and still used that fork to pick up peoples waffles and serve them. He came in maybe 10 minutes later and put my order on a plate. I had ordered the Chicken sandwich with hash browns the only thing on the plate were my hash browns (which were burnt) and then my chicken. I left when I saw that it was the only 2 on the plate and he hadn’t even started cooking my bacon yet. By the time I got my food my food had been sitting out so long that my burnt food was cold. I got up and left and went straight to Dennys 6 minutes down the road 10/10...
Read moreFor years, Waffle House has been a go-to of sorts for my wife and I. This visit to this location was lacking. The coffee wasn't fresh. It was passable on the first cup, but when I finally got a refill (eating most of my meal without), I asked for a fresh pot since the two pots near us hadn't been touched. The server assured us that they had made a fresh pot, and then proceeded to grab the same untouched pots. Since there were hardly any customers that night, I would have thought he would have realized that a fresh pot would likely be full, not 1/2 empty.
Moving on to the food, what we had was good, but my wife put an order in for bacon when we got our food (thinking she had ordered the cheesy eggs as a meal), but it took forever to get (we were actually 95% done eating). Apparently, it had gotten lost in some of the order that were placed around the same time. As a result, it wasn't quite as hot as we might have wanted.
What we witnessed on this visit is becoming more common in the Waffle Houses we eat at, particularly when it comes to coffee. When my wife and I were dating, we would frequently go to Waffle House for coffee, and after we were married for dinner about once a week. The coffee was always good, always fresh. It feels like the WH staff no longer take...
Read moreWent to this particular waffle house and had the worst experience I've ever had at any waffle house before. My wife and I both ordered the same thing. The allstar breakfast. This is one of the best selling items they have to offer. I would think they know how to make it. The eggs were not cooked to order they screwed up my Waffle not once but three times. All I asked for was one blueberry waffle. Had to ask for the bacon and sausage the server left it on the counter next to the fry cook. It's not like they were busy because they weren't. Ask four times to have my drink refilled until I actually handed him the glass I said could you refill this please. Her eggs were overcooked so where mine. It was just an all-around bad experience. I would not recommend to my friends that they go here. I did not ask to see the manager because she look like she could care less about anything. I paid my bill I even tipped the waiter and I left. I will not frequent here any longer and I don't recommend anybody else do either. It's kind of a Pity I really like Waffle House that's a company company as I had eaten at other Waffle Houses before. I guess I'm just terribly displeased what I thought was a good...
