So for starters the personnel is very polite and courteous, shout out to the older gentleman that knows his stuff when it comes to rock climbing ! The quality is there in the products. There is a wide selection of different brands , brands you can trust and depend your life on. Brands like black diamond and north face. I get all my gear here when it comes to climbing. I stick with indoor for the most part, so all the carabiners, shoes, and harnesses here do really good. I have not tried outdoor climbing yet but I have full faith in the rope you can buy at the store. They have different types of rope for multiple uses. I weigh approximately 280 (most is lean fat 👍) and feel secure with the harness I bought from here. Highly recommend this store for all your outdoor needs. The price is high as some have stated but it is a quality product. I would rather spend a lot on a really good product then get A LOT of cheap products. Be prepared to go on a shopping frenzy once your in this store. My recommendation would be to walk in with a set amount of cash because you will we walk out of here with the wallet empty and no money left for chik fil a. I've been coming here for years, this is one of my favorite places to shop for hiking, kayaking stuff. The people who work here are phenomenal, and always willing to help with questions (alot of which they had no obligation to answer, like tips for camping and hiking locally). I can bring my dog in, and a feel comfortable knowing I'm getting good products. My only complaints are prices are pretty high, but you could say that of just about anywhere nowadays. And for supporting a local business who helps people get outdoors responsibly, I don't mind it. And sometimes they don't have all the brands and all the gear I'd like to get (hyperlite, Hennessy hammocks, a few others), but for being a small local shop, I feel they do extremely well. I'll shop here anytime I need outdoor gear. Edit: to all the cry baby's who are complaining about having to wear a mask, walk on. It's a minor inconvenience that could potentially save lives, and is mandated by the state. You're putting employees and their families at risk by not complying. Cool place to get legit stuff. Prices are incredibly high, as you see other people mention. REI, AMAZON, and other places can be up to 30 percent less for the same items. This place isn't a big chain so of course they have to make their money, but sometimes its hard to swallow the price tags.

Make sure you know the return policy well. Was told by an associate at a previous check out, with no mention of quality of returned item, that if I had the receipt that it would be returnable.

Of course they wont take back an item abused and thoroughly used, but I did return an item I had worn once and the way the item, and I, were questioned was as if I had bought it just to use and return to the store. I felt a little cheapened by the way it was handled seeing as you can spend 400 dollars on 2 items in a heart beat. I felt like wearing an item once, using it for its intended purpose and returning it, is well with in the parameters of a good return policy.
