Five Guys — Restaurant in Winter Haven

OK, the only time in my life I've ate at Five Guys, was in the location in Orlando, FL on Semoran Blvd (close to the airport) in 2016...

It was good but, well, I just moved to USA then, and after almost 8 years living here, living in 3 different states (FL, IL and VA) and traveled around 14 other different states of this big country (and tried almost every single 🍔🍔 place on the road), from main fast food chains to simple burger joints in a corner at any given street...

I have to confess that SHAKE SHACK burgers are the best ones you can afford, without spend 100 $ for a Burger in a gourmet restaurant in New York or San Francisco, which BTW, in both cities I did try those expensive ones, and I still prefer Shake Shack 🍔 🍔 hands down without any doubt!

For the review of this Five Guys location in Winter Haven, FL, I requested a double 🍔 with 🧀 + 🥓 "all the way" (all the toppings) and it was good, very good!😋 The meat was great and juicy, with fresh toppings and melty cheese, a 9 of 10 👏👏👏

Maybe the main reason that make me believes that it's not a wonderful burger, it's was because the sauces are the classics (mustard, ketchup and mayo) and it make a kind of "boring" for such a good combination of bread, meat and toppings. Also it is fare to say that being such a "loaded"🍔 you don't feel yourself like a blimp 🤭, plus I didn't pay for the🍟, just the burger.

But is not close to the Shake Shack level (for the record, the best Shak Shack is the one at downtown Virginia Beach, VA), it's close but not enough.

One more thing: there is saying that says: "if you see an employee of a restaurant eating in the place, the food is good" well, there you have a picture of beautiful employee taking his Five Guys 🍔...

This is definitely a place to visit if you are a hamburger lover! It was my first visit and it was delicious! It was an excellent option after Legoland waterpark, my family and I were really hungry. We bought five hamburgers and an order of large fries and sodas. It was a lot of food! For little kids, if they don't eat much, one little cheeseburger would be enough to share for two. The difference between the normal and the "little" cheeseburgers is the number of meat patties (two in the normal ones and one for the little ones). Another thing that surprised me was the variety of soda drinks they offer, really good soda fountain. Since we were full, we didn't have the chance to try the milkshakes, so maybe next time...because we are definitely coming back. And finally, but very important, all the staff is very diligent and completes the experience with a great customer ...

Went in and had a burger today I just can't get too excited about this place I mean after all spending $15 for a hamburger fries and a drink? WTF? With the crowded field of burger places today I'm surprised they're still open. I mean the hamburger was okay but you know that price is pretty off-putting. I mean who can afford to spend 15 to $20 for lunch? Their pricing themselves in the stratosphere for what I feel is in today's market a pretty average Burger I'm not saying it was bad ingredients for fresh and all that everything was good but is the price point is just out of out of this world and I can see by the number of people eating there that they feel the same way it was not very busy and these stores are closing all over the place they need to get back in line with some decent pricing because they're just not...
