I had a very disappointing experience at Emerald Medical Center & Spa with Angela. I went in for a hydrofacial and a BBL laser treatment, but I saw no results at all. The very next day, I went to another medical spa where they used an Image Pro machine to evaluate my skin. The scan showed no signs that I had recently received either treatment,which was very concerning. On top of that, the experience itself was unprofessional. During the BBL,l was asked to take off my shirt without being offered a towel or covering, which made me extremely uncomfortable. Even worse, my face was cleaned with what appeared to be nothing more than a disposable "butt wipe, which felt completely unsanitary and inappropriate for a medical-grade procedure. After the hydrofacial, I was left with new hyperpigmentation that did not have before. I've also reached out several times to reschedule or cancel upcoming appointments, but Angela has not responded. Overall, the treatments were ineffective,the professionalism was lacking, and my skin was negatively impacted. Based on my xperience,I cannot recommend this place.

*Edited: it wasn't a 2 weeks difference. It was one week exactly i got hydrofacil facial done on the 19 and bbl on 26 of September.

Also, it’s not that I felt uncomfortable taking off my shirt in front of you. The issue is that I’m paying for a professional service, and I expect to be treated with the same care and consideration as anyone else.

When people go to a spa, it’s usually to relax and feel comfortable. Typically, clients are provided with a towel, given time to undress, and the provider steps out of the room for a moment to allow privacy. With you, however, everything felt rushed and that standard of care wasn’t there.

I also didn’t bring up the hyperpigmentation at the time, because I didn’t think it was a big deal. However, when I went to another medical spa, they told me that I should not have experienced that, which made me realize it was something worth mentioning.

I was never given any explanation of an unexpected emergency, and I gave you the benefit of the doubt to respond back to me.

I had also explained that I wanted something deeper to address my scars—not a treatment that would require many sessions. My goal was to have a more intensive treatment so that I would need less ongoing...

I can’t say enough good things about Ariana and Angela at Emerald Medical Spa. From the moment I walked through the door their energy was amazing, so welcoming, uplifting and kind. They instantly made me feel at ease and like I was in the hands of people who really care.

I had a hydrafacial and they explained everything step by step so I always felt comfortable and knew what was happening. The treatment was relaxing and so effective. When I looked in the mirror after, my skin was glowing, smooth and hydrated.

What stood out the most to me is that Ariana and Angela don’t just perform a treatment, they create an experience. They’re positive, attentive and you can tell they love what they do. I left feeling refreshed inside and out.

I began visiting Emerald Medical Center and Spa in January 2025. I was looking for a place where the aesthetician would work with me to achieve the results I wanted and make me feel comfortable. Angela has been great to work with. She listens to my concerns and makes recommendations. She lets me decide what services I want. Angela also has several packages that include great options in services and are affordable. She works with her clients and team to deliver great service. I have seen a big difference in my face after doing microdermabrasion, hydra facials, and laser. Angela has great attention to detail. Her facility is always clean and inviting. Angela is an expert in her field, and once you start talking to her, you see it. She and her team are determined to deliver good-quality services at affordable prices.
