I was given a 2ct diamond pendant from my grandmother. It was made from her wedding rung. A few years ago I took to Simmons b/c I wanted to have it put in a ring on a wide gold band that I purchased there at the same time. It was a beautiful stone with the best clarity. It took them shout two weeks. I'd purchased jewelry from them several times before. I picked the up and they distracted me by talking. The fit and style was perfect. I went wrong by not asking them to get the stone checker so I could be sure they didn't do what they did. What they did was stole my beautiful stone and put a fake stone in the setting. I didn't know it until like a year or so later when I had it cleaned at Zales. The man that cleaned it for me said to me this is a nice ring but did you know that the stone is not real? I almost hit the floor. I trusted Simmons and it wasn't like they were poor people. I was very upset and wished I had it checked when I picked it up. I would've called the police and waited right inside the store for them. Stay away from them crooks. I hope they see this post and and say whatever they want to but, yes this is what they dud and I never stepped foot back in their store. They are on Park Avenue stealing people's stone for their gain. I would've put them on blast and have the news teams there to really put it out there for all to see. That was really messed up and foul. I will never recommend anyone to go there b/c they are most likely still doing it and that's probably why they're still in business- stealing stones and sell them for big bucks. I rarely give bad reviews, but if I could give them a Negative 5 star rating I would!! Simmons Jewelers is a horrible jewelry store!! They took forever to restring my freshwater pearl & citrine necklace and I actually lost 12" of the necklace, because the woman they contracted to do the work didn't follow the pattern, left strings hanging and apparently lost some of the citrine and pearls. It doesn't even look like the same necklace! They also quoted me that it'd be around $100. and then charged me $441. when I picked up the necklaces, after never being called, 6 weeks later. Also, the other Peridot necklace won't lay flat and wasn't cleaned. The work is inferior, and they didn't honor their verbal quote (which is a binding contract)! Everything about this experience has been awful!! Very dishonest bordering on fraud in my book, because they knew it was going to be a lot more than $100 and never called to ask or get my authorization to do the work for $341. MORE than quoted. Plus, they doubled the price the Pearl re-stringer charged them! I do not recommend Simmons Jewelers and would not take anything of value there to be repaired!! Photos are of the bad work. Bobby is my favorite person working in this palace what a gentleman he always has shown me the the BEST of the BEST!! When it comes to fulfilling you're diamonds and any other gem 💎needs. Personally I am an Australian opal fan boy! He always has just what I'm looking for, or if I am needing something to be repaired he has it done correctly! I am also pleased withthe gold is, always pure and heavy just the way I like it. Now others may like light gold as their preference, so weather you're looking for 14k 18k 22k be assured he has it!! So many assorted vintage and modern goods that take you're breath away.

I saw a few reviews of people saying beware they pay people to leave reviews 😒 it's terrible when someone doesn't get their way, or simply just a negative compulsive liar. I know I've met everyone who works at Simmons and none of them are mean hearted people. As I've said go experience the joy/ humbleness and professionalism the employees bring and meet Bobby
