Came to support an Indie Bookstore as part of the Iowa Indie Bookstore Tour on 07/06/2025. Only to have the employee ask where our passports came form and what was he to do with it. He didn’t know anything about it. Couldn’t find stickers. Said he hasn’t been able to reach the owner for a week as he’s on vacation. Said the normal employee couldn’t work today (didn’t offer to contact the normal employee either). People are driving from all over the state and neighboring states to participate in this tour and they left employees unprepared. Quaint and unique book store. Great atmosphere and fun vibe! The super hero drinks are yummy treats for all ages! Have to say Harley Quinn and the swamp thing are favorites so far! Books for everyone and if they don’t have it can order for you. Stop in and give the Lord of the Rings puzzle a try and you just might see Star Wars playing in the background too!
