Kalyan Jewellers — Local services in Woodbridge Township

I was in Edison, to buy some jewelry for gift purposes. Normally I go to a fixed shop (that’s how your trust builds). This time, I did not like the design much and thought about exploring other shops in the area, and then I saw this. I knew Kalyan was about to open their first outlet in the USA, but I did not know the exact date.

They informed me, they just opened 3 weeks back. The shop looks classy and elegant, and no shortage of staff. You don’t have to wait for staff to attend you. A manager is there to make sure you are welcome.

The diamond section is on the right-hand side. But I was here for gold items. They showed us some new designs and I thought this was something unique, but apart from a couple of new designs, they have the same typical designs, and seems they are still struggling with their inventory.

I was looking for a light necklace set, but every necklace was without earrings and they were offering mix-n-match earrings- there I lost interest. Finally, I got the item from the same trusted store (starts with ‘T”)

I understand they are fairly new in the market, but they need to add more unique designs in their inventory to have the identity that they have...

I had a fantastic experience at this store, during my recent visit for casual gold shopping. From the moment we walked in, we were assisted by "Tumpa", and I must say, she truly elevated our shopping experience.

The collection is really good and the store offers a wide variety of jewelry. It’s bigger compared to other stores. I have come to purchase a chain but I didn’t because of the sales person who helped us, I just wanted to leave a word of advice. I was specifically looking for a dual tone thin chain to go with a butterfly pendent and the sales person was too pushy and passed comments like “if you wanna buy gold chain, how many stores will you see, its the same everywhere” and when she was showing boys chain I told her its for a girl and that my friend recently had a baby so I need a smaller size, for which she later passed comments like “for friends you can spend 500$ thats enough, for family we need to spend more” that was totally uncalled for. We didn’t like her company and the way she was talking, due to which we didn’t want to make a purchase in the store and left. Hope this feedback...
