Edit: After I initially wrote this review, fake reviews were posted! Again, beware of this place!
Customer service is GREAT because they want to trap you into buying items youâre not sure about/donât actually like! When you go home and look at the item(s) more closely and see the imperfections, you canât return it because no return policy! Shouldâve seen the red flag from the beginning - donât trust places with a no return policy.
Terrible place. Cheap quality clothing. Not worth what they charge! I came in to return an item (without having worn it) and they do not accept returns for clearly defective items.
Also, the woman who assisted me basically pressured me into spending more than I wanted to when I clearly told her I didnât want to spend more than a certain amount. âOh itâs only x amount over your budget!â
I would suggest to go to another place if you can, especially if you have no experience buying Indian clothing - these people will DEFINITELY take...
Read moreWhat a great shop and shop owner! It was my first visit to Edison and quite overwhelming not knowing which stores to go to and which one of them would be reasonably priced? I started off at a shop where I immediately found a pretty simple but dressy outfit but wanted to look more. The lady kept discussing my plus size qualities and how I wouldnât find anyone else. Discouraged not about myself but about the Indian mindset, I decided to hit up a couple other places but insane prices for very ornate beautiful outfits - but I wasnât the bride. Thatâs when I stumbled upon this store. Itâs small but has a great selection. She spends her time talking to you to find out what you would like and not everything is out of a Bollywood movie. Not once did she mention my size but instead, encouraged me in what I was trying on and what looked good on me. Sometimes, more often than not, the people are who make the difference in your shopping experience. So glad I...
Read moreExtremely rude and aggressive staff. I took my elderly mother there to buy a few pieces of clothing. She picked a few items and my mother was trying them on in their only change room. As my mom has severe pain in her arms and it takes her time to try clothing. A few minutes later, another customer came in and needed to use the change room. The lady who was working there loudly knocked on the change room door and said, âAre you done yet! Other customers need to use the roomâ. A few minutes later she remarked to the other staff member nearby, âYou better knock again so we can get her out of thereâ. At that point I couldnât take it anymore and confronted them about their rude behavior. But they were defiant about it. They are so callous and inconsiderate about an elderly person and their pain. It was downright shocking! There are plenty of other places to shop. Stay away...
