Yo I can’t tell you how good the barber is.. he was talking to me while doing the haircut, he was so chill. After every cut he does with a scissors he looks back and makes sure everything is really good even if it’s barely a fifth of an inch. The haircut was actually good too no one recognized me at school.. the studio is organized flashy and clean. The haircut I got was a fringe with a mid taper and it looked so nicely done. It did take about 45 minutes but that’s how you know it’s good. Allat for only 30 dollars too. He even hooked me up with some tips on how to keep our hair healthy and what texture powder to use. He even remembers everyone’s name. He for sure knows how to start a conversation. His name is Adam . My sister got her nails done and they look EXACTLY like the pictures shown. Adam did say the business is kinda slow cuz no one really knows about it. So I wanted to leave a good review( not biased though ). I go to shades every 2 months and it’s the same awesome service!! Adam needs a raise though please give him a raise owner and thank you so much for the AMAZING...

Talented, meticulous, perfection. Those are the three words that come to mind when I think of Ida and Kim at Shades. I have been going to them for a good ten years. My nails always look perfect…cuticles cleaned, and polish and designs are applied to perfection. They take extra time with my cuticles as I am a cuticle bitter and never say anything about the extra time it takes to achieve their standard of perfection. The artwork each of them do is unique and beautiful. I also had microblading done on my eyebrows by Kim. The compliments I get when I tell people they are microblade are endless. People can’t believe how natural they look. Again Perfection. Shades itself is a beautiful salon, that is exceptionally clean, and they ensure a safe environment with your own tools for mani's and pedi's.

Shades has a visually appealing and unique interior design. One step inside and I can tell that a lot of care and attention was put into crafting the shop. I can take a glance at the one wall of famous people, and ask for any hairstyle! I wasn't as daring though. I went for the classic crew cut to look fresh for the holiday family photos. Can't beat the classics!

Adam did a wonderful job connecting my facial hair to my crew cut, blending them together to make them look as natural as possible. From the photos, you can tell it's very clean. That's a lot of weight off of my shoulders! Pun-intended! Ultimately, Adam was really friendly and made sure I was comfortable during the time I was in the barbershop and I appreciated that immensely.
