I have gone to this location 2 times and that might be it for me. The first time, the food was good, but there was tinfoil in my bowl so i immediately lost my appetite. I decided to see past the tinfoil and i came back because i really liked the food.
The second time i came back, i ordered on the app. I ordered 2 tortilla soup bowls, one with a shell and one without. When i placed the order it said 7-17 minutes. i waited my 17 minutes, and then some, walked in and the manager (or i assume she was a manager), she proceeded to hand me a bag and said the soup is going to take 25 minutes. i nicely and calmly said ok that’s fine no worries. She OFFERED me a soda in the meantime, to which i politely declined. About a minute later she returns back to me and said it’s going to take 45 minutes and that they just put the soup in, i remained calm again and said ok i’ll wait. She then proceeded to OFFER me chips and queso to which i said sure too as i was gonna have to wait 45 more minutes for my soup. I then proceeded to ask her if i can wait in the car for the soup and she said “i gave you the queso and chips as a replacement to the soup. it’s equal value. to which i told her one thing of queso and chips does not equal the value of 2 soups. she told me i ordered 2 shells with the soup to which she read on the bag and i read on my order was not the case. i proceeded to leave with what i had which was 2 bowls and chips and queso. i came back in to say that was not what i wanted as i ordered those ingredients specifically for a soup and i would have ordered different ingredients for a bowl. Unfortunately the one bowl opened all in the bag(the lid was not securely put on). I tried to explain to the guy at the register why i didn’t want these bowls and rather if i wasn’t going to get the soup in wanted a different bowl and the lady came over, looked in the bag and said what happened and if i did that on purpose. i proceeded to say it was an accident and the lid must have came off to which she threw the bag, and stormed to the back. The other workers all came over and said what happened and were all confused.
Luckily one of the other guys remade our bowls (we still didn’t get the soup). the bowls were honestly not that good and after the experience of frustration, makes me think twice about going back there. after looking at the other reviews i see people say the staff is rude and i would have to agree. i really did like qhoba but this put a bad taste...
Read moreThis is the most toxic Restaurant experience I have ever encountered in my life. My husband went to order at QDoba on his way to work and he was charged twice for the same bowl. When he confronted them, the guy manager had him write his name on a piece of paper and asked him to come back if he gets charged twice after the charges get posted on his bank. When the bank statement started showing that he was charged twice for the bowl, me, my husband and my brother went back to QDoba. The female manager with tattoos on her arms started to state that it’s impossible that we got charged twice and once we showed her the bank statements, she still chose to not believe us and she started to yell at us for asking for a refund and said, we should call the bank and deal with the bank instead. Then, she started making faces at us and giving us attitude. The male manager with glasses was very nice and he processed our refund. The same night, when we went bank to QDoba to order food, the female manager with tattoos came to us and asked what card we are planning on paying with and once we told her that we will use a different card to pay with, she said “you shouldn’t be ordering from here at all and why are y’all back here to order?”, we replied saying, we want food. She yelled at us saying that she won’t serve us and she asked all the other employees to not serve us. She started to humiliate us in front of all the other customers. This is very disappointing, considering the fact that we were always getting food from QDoba and now she has ruined QDoba for us and my friends and family. It was very devastating to see a manager of a restaurant calling us names and pointing fingers at us and refusing to serve us because of the fact that QDoba charged us twice.I can’t believe that a manager treats customers with such disrespect and has the guts to disrespect and humiliate customers in front of everyone. Very...
Read moreTwo of my preferred dining establishments are Qdoba and Moe's. I used to frequent Chipotle and held it in high regard until I discovered Moe's. Moe's offers more favorable pricing and provides greater value for the money spent. I experienced a similar sentiment when transitioning from Moe's to Qdoba. Qdoba offers more substantial portions at more affordable prices. In terms of taste, Moe's and Qdoba are quite comparable. This particular Qdoba is conveniently situated on Route 1/9, sharing the same premises as Big Shots. I have never encountered overcrowding during my visits.
Edit 10/20/24. I'll change this back but need to advise. Ordered today at 3pm and asked for the $3.75 add on with drink, queso, chips. Was charged $4.45. Questioned it and was told it was tax. I pointed out that tax was taken out of the sum and not the individual food item. Was told, "you want it or not, I don't have time for this". Collected my refund and left. I didn't get her name, but it was the young black lady with the mole over her eye. Horrible customer service and my first bad experience. Sure hope she...
