This Helzberg has been pretty good. Iāve had bad experiences with one of their workers named Mary. All the other workers Iāve had pleasant and nice experiences. Anytime my husband and I have to go pick up our items and see her working we dread going inside.
Iāve unfortunately have run into her before at another job she had at the Starbucks inside of Barnes in Noble. I ordered an iced drink and it was raining out and she said with the nastiest tone āAre you sure you want that itās literally cold outside?ā It was a new special item on the menu that I wanted to try and it sounded good. I do not get coffee often as itās a luxury and her attitude made me cancel my order because I didnāt trust her after her complaint over a cold drink in cold weather lol.
When I got engaged, I had my ring cleaned in store for free and quickly took like 8 minutes total with a male worker and he was awesome and really nice! I went in to get a quick cleaning a week before my wedding and yay come to find out Mary also works here! :) I was there and said she could send it in for a fast priority deep cleaning but I said I wanted the in store cleaning because it takes less then 10 minutes. She acted like that was not possible? She held on to my ring for a hot minute and I told her that was okay and wanted my ring back. I did not trust I would get my engagement ring back in time for my wedding.
My husband had to get his wedding band repaired because there was gap under the band and when water would get through it would cause his skin to erode and blister. It cost about $1000 to fill in that gap. Which is fine, itās adding white gold filling that makes sense. The problem is the jeweler/goldsmith who added the filling left a lot of pitting.
Fast forward, I placed an order for 3 rings and had to get resized for my sausage fingers and their system was down so she had to hand write them. Mary went through the size information and signatures very thoroughly. She got one of the rings wrong so we sent it to be the correct size. We were supposed to get a message if the rings were ready and never did. We placed the original order in late November and the resize around December 20th. We went in today Jan 16th. Mary never sent in the ring that was supposed to be sized up? Itās literally the same size as last time. Iām so thankful we did not have her for our actual wedding rings. When I got home today, I accidentally dropped one of the new rings and 2 of the opals fell out⦠it did not even drop that far or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been a long time customer at this store but the quality of jewelry care and repair is TERRIBLE now days. On 3 separate occasions I have brought my ring in because the center stone is crooked and one of the prongs is wildly thin, and it comes back from ārepairsā looking exactly the same, if not worse. On top of that, I also have a matching necklace. The chain is quite thin so it breaks easy- not a problem thatās why I have the lifetime insurance right? Wrong. Every single time I bring in the broken chain I get a heafty amount of sighs, sass, and attitude from the employees. A while back, I brought it in and they sent the chain in to be welded back together instead of just replacing it. It can back with a large ugly lump of extra metal on it and the āfixā snapped again before I even made it out to my car. When I brought the broken chain in most recently, they said they were going to send it in to be welded like last time. I specifically said I was not comfortable with that as last time it just made it worse and I would just like a replacement chain. No shocker here, they refused to give me a replacement and sent it in anyway. Iāve had it back for maybe 2-3 weeks and the welded point (aka, their āfixā) just broke again. I didnāt touch it, didnāt pull on it, didnāt do anything I quite literally just adjusted how I was sitting and apparently thatās enough for it to break. I will be taking it in to a different location this time, one that hopefully has employees who were actually trained on customer service and jewelers who...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWoodbury Store Manager, Sara Brown, is simply amazing!!!! She help me pull off the biggest surprise for my Wonderful Wife. My Wife and I married almost 31 years ago.
Sara is so knowledgeable about Helzberg's products and process that I went to see her immediately after my call. She guided me through the entire process and incorporated one of my daughters to help pull off the surprise. Keep in mind, 30 years ago certain cuts of diamonds were not being made (except maybe for rich folks).
We repaired my wife's ring, which I had to cut off of her hand a few years ago. Major props to Sara and the jeweler. The repaired band was immaculate. It appeared as if it was brand new.š
Sara continued her greatness by assisting me with selecting a new diamond to upgrade the ring. The rest of the story is too long to tell. However, on the day of delivery Sara asked if I wanted to have flowers for my wife during the presentation. I had not thought of it, but I said yes.š¤·šæāāļø Due to my schedule, Sara actually purchased the flowers in order to assist me with maintaining the element of surprise.
This amazing lady (Sara) hid my 6 ft. tall daughter behind a large display - so my wife would not see her. My daughter was able to record the whole ordeal. Suffice it to say my wife was shocked and surprised and shed a few tears. This was my best surprise since my original proposal 30 years ago. Thanks you again Sara Brown and...
