This used to be my favorite food truck that came through my town. I don't eat meat, so there aren't a lot of options for me. I kept track of when Thai Thai was coming through, because I loved their veggie eggrolls and pad thai. The last time I visited them, I'd planned it for a week. The last time I had gone to their truck, they were out of veggie egg rolls, and I was hoping I could get them this time with my pad thai. I placed my order at their truck and they charged me, and then when I asked for extra peanuts on the pad thai, they told me they were out of peanuts. The peanuts are pretty crucial to the dish for me, so I cancelled the pad thai and just resigned myself to egg rolls for dinner. The woman tried to hand me cash back, and I asked if she could just put it back on the card I had charged. She got help from the other person in the truck to handle this, and they told me I had been refunded. When I got home, I saw that they had refunded me for the price of the pad thai, but they had kept my entire tip, which I had placed as a percent of the total, not as a specific dollar amount. So they charged me a ten dollar tip for egg rolls. Then, when I ate the egg rolls, one of them was pork. I have not eaten meat in 15 years, so this was very upsetting. I tried to reach them on their Facebook page and through the program they charged my card, but they never responded to either request. Their food can be good, but who knows if they'll have it. They might sneak meat into your dish if you're vegetarian. They won't tell you if they're out of ingredients until after they have charged you, and then they'll keep a massive tip for an appetizer, and they won't ever respond if you contact them about it. I used to watch for their truck and ate there every time they came to town. I will never...

Their food is consistent in taste and quality! I always treat myself to their delicious food when they're in the area or at food truck events!
Yummy yummm!
I love that when they have Pad Thai on the menu is versatile for those who are gluten free, those who are vegan or have shellfish allergy
At the 60+ food truck even in St Paul today I tried the beef bowl and it exceeded my expectations! Very very good and tasted so fresh, not greasy like some other places I've eaten at! Fried boiled egg on top was soooo good! Great portion too which shocked me! They don't skimp out on portion and the bursts of satisfying flavor:)
Chicken satay is a other favorite of mine! My husband is very picky when it comes to food and he says their food is pretty good and he eats there...
Read moreThis is for the food truck version: I had the beef salad it was very mid not spicy at all which it’s okay because it didn’t say it’ll be spicy. The beef in that bowl was chewy and the salad was heavy celery based if you like that. Definitely catering towards Minnesotans. I got the MN hot sauce it was Minnesota hot (not hot at all). Lastly, I got egg rolls which were hot and crispy. It was okay I would get them again. Would i recommend short answer not the food truck version, but I would like to try the actual restaurant because usually they aren’t the same plus I think they’ll have...
