This Kohl’s in particular is awful. Horrible customer service, employees are NOT knowledgeable the store itself is complete chaos, disorganized and messy, and zero help from employees when I had questions. I can't speak for all the employees but the few I have encountered were absolutely ridiculous. I asked one employee if the women's Dept had more clearance available (like in juniors or misses) and she was completely dumbfounded shrugged her shoulders and never said a single word. I should have just left at that point to save my sanity.
Long story short this next part is what did it in for me. Clearance make up was a complete disaster, people were clearly rummaging through the make up because all the boxes were ripped off and everything was damaged, like eye shadows crushed from people touching and broken lip sticks missing sponges from sets it was really a terrible site. Headed to the cashier with the items I managed to salvage from the wreckage to ask the price and if they would cut the price more for the POOR QUALITY of it. Plain and simple the rude employee said nope not make up nope nope nope. I said but it's damaged, and she said nope. Just an awful attitude and absolutely no customer service skills at all. This women needs to find a job where she doesn't have to talk to people and I'm not sorry for anything I've said because this is part of my job to review places I've shopped and I would never suggest anyone shop at this Kohls for that reason. Checking prices helping customers front products cleaning organizing folding all I'm sure is included in her job but she has absolutely no customer service skills and unfortunately fails elsewhere due to that. I just moved to the area but I will never go in that location again and I do not...
Read moreI don't shop at Kohl's very often because of the location to my home, but I sometimes order from Kohl's online for delivery. I am usually very happy with my online purchases. Last November, I was looking for a light weight jacket and ordered online for delivery. When it arrived, it wasn't what I really wanted. A few days later, I was in the Woodbury area and decided to stop at Kohl's to check what they had in stock and return the ordered jacket. I am so glad I did. April was on duty and was incredibly helpful, patient, and friendly. When I explained to her what I was looking for, she made several suggestions, even taking me to different areas of the store. I choose a jacket, which I love and wear often, but wouldn't have considered initially ordering through the online description. Since I had earned Kohl's cash from my online order, April clearly explained how my return would affect my Kohl's cash. I was more interested in getting the jacket, that the Kohl's cash wasn't that important to me (it wasn't much anyway). April helped me with the return and also with my purchase. During my rare visits to the Woodbury store, I have found all the staff to be incredibly helpful, patient, and friendly. I have never encountered a problem there. I also like that it is a smaller store and easy to navigate. I will definitely continue shopping at the Woodbury Kohl's when I am...
Read moreI had forgotten my Kohl's card, so the lady at the register asked if I'd like to just enter my information. I often forget about "store specific cards" so I declined, and she mentioned that I was able to use my Kohl's charge and pay it immediately for the discount. This sounded pretty good, but the card reader was on the fritz, and it double charged my bank account. When I called Customer Service (main branch, not store) to dispute the charge, they told me I'd receive word within about 48 hours after emailing them a screenshot of my account. One week later, I was sent a letter that said "No changes were made to your account."
So I once again called Customer Service. They told me they saw the activity, but I was most definitely not double charged. I double checked my bank account, and those $32 pair of shoes most definitely cost me $64. They then told me to fax in my bank statement. I told them I emailed the screen shot and was told they don't accept emails, I can either mail it, or fax it. I told them I had done this before and they told me that was not company policy. I told them I didn't have access to a fax machine and they told me to go to the library to fax it. I offered to message them by telegraph, but then they got very rude.
Closed my Kohl's Charge, will not shop...
