I've had a horrible experience trying to buy a bed from here. They do not do refunds so please be aware!! I bought a tempurpedic pro adapt medium after trying the floor model and it was so plush and nice in the store. When I received it, it was incredibly firm and not to my liking at all even after waiting 3 months for it to break in. I called the manager of the store to try to resolve the issue (along with another issue with a broken Adjustable base) and hopefully get my money back. I enjoyed my old memory foam mattress and it was way cheaper I thought buying a high quality bed that was over $3,000 would have good results but I was wrong and I just wanted to be done with it and get a refund. I know they stated before that if you're unhappy you can do an exchange for a different bed but I was not aware that they wouldn't do refunds for any reason. I explained to the manager I have tried all their beds and I didn't love any of them so I wanted a refund. He was adamant they don't do refunds only exchanges. I told him I really do not want to do an exchange but he said 'oh come on there's really nothing else you like?'. I thought maybe the beauty rest black was okay but I was so sure I liked the tempurpedic in store and when I got it I was very disappointed. When I went in again for the exchange I tried the tempur pedic pro adapt again and it was sooo much softer than what we had after breaking it in even. I asked the lady helping us about why it could be so different and she said the floor models are 5-10 years old. Why wouldn't she let me know that from the beginning? Maybe I would have avoided making that decision all together and none if this would be an issue. Also when I was looking around I found a MUCH softer memory foam mattress that wasn't there before and I would have wanted to exchange for that one but was told no, it should be equal or greater to the cost of what you paid for the previous bed. This bed was $2,000 and I paid over $3,000. I asked if I could get the money back for the difference and was told there was nothing they could do about it. So I got the closest one to the price which was the beauty rest black. I had to pay MORE money for this because of course you're not gonna find another mattress you like that's the exact price and also there was a delivery charge on top of it so I am paying extra money for something I did not want and they make it seem like its my fault. I have been dealing with Schneidermans since September for a variety of issues and every time I've had a problem they seem to put it back on me. I have no hope that big companies have any genuine care for their customers. I have told everyone I can to avoid shopping at Schneidermans. The only solution here would be to get my money back and be treated with kindness and understanding. Just be aware as a buyer that they are not interested in you being happy with your purchase. We ordered a dining room table, 5 dining room chairs, a chair and a half, and an ottoman. We were able to bring the table home the following week and were told that our chairs would be ready the following month because it was a close out sale.
Months go by and we hear nothing from Cynthia, we call to follow up on our order and find out everything pending has been pushed out at least 3 months. Why didn't we get a call about this?
We contacted Cynthia about this time change and she told us she would update us on any further changes. A few months go by and we stop in to get leather recliners for our basement, we were set up with Cathy (I believe that is her name). She was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process, she even checked up on our orders with Cynthia while we were there.
This is when Cathy informed us that our orders were pushed out again until July and August - again, with no communication from Cynthia. We then call Cynthia frustrated and she tells us to call her the first week of July to follow up on these pending orders.
We call Cynthia per her instructions the first week of July and we were informed she was on vacation for the next two weeks..... this is when we leave a frustrating voicemail for the sales manager AND our couches with Cathy had already arrived at this point - timely AND with communication.
I believe we talked to Carlos - the sales manager who then told us that our ottoman and dining room chairs were finally in (5 months later) but that our chair and a half wont be ready until OCTOBER. Again, no communication from Cynthia. We told Carlos to cancel this order, we spent two days on the phone going back and forth and we believed our order was cancelled until we got two more calls from Cynthia.
The first call was to confirm the fabric of the pillows we wanted for our chair and a half - the order we had cancelled several weeks prior AND we had picked out the fabrics in store with her which means they weren't ordered.
This is when we reminded Cynthia that we cancelled that order with her supervisor. The confirmed the order was cancelled. Yesterday, (August) I received another call from Cynthia about whether or not we wanted to cancel this order.. SERIOUSLY?? How many times does this cancellation need to be confirmed?
But again, we got confirmation yesterday that the chair was cancelled. We had more communication with Cynthia about cancelling our order then we did in the 5 months waiting for our orders to arrive.
We liked Cathy, but Cynthia was a headache. We won't be coming back for that reason which is a bummer because we have a 4 bedroom...

Iāve included photos which show the versatility of them along with my brand new Stressless Chairs which my husband and I both adore and our backs are Sooo grateful for too š. Lea Sullivan at the Woodbury Schneidermanās is just the absolute best!! She was patient with me and my time schedule, gave her design expertise, but really listened to my ideas and incorporated that into finding these beautiful fabrics which became my custom pillows. Iāve shown a couple of options that can be used with these pillows. All the furniture comes from Schneidermanās. The red Italian couch was the original piece where the previous salesman didnāt follow up with me. Itās not a super deep couch (Iām 5ā6ā), but deep enough that I needed a pillow so I could sit up straight and be comfortable; the blue leather/llama one is mine (only for me & my favorite tooš). I personally like lots of color and as an artist and color specialist personally, I appreciated working with Lea because although not conventional or traditional, Lea appreciated my color choices and boldness. Overall the best experience for me and I can hardly wait until I need to buy new furniture again!!
Iāve shopped at Schneidermanās for many years now, but my first experience wasnāt a five-star rating simply because my salesperson, šØš»āš¼, didnāt follow up with me like I asked him to regarding a custom pillow order I was interested in doing. He had of course āpromised he wouldā but to no avail. This left enough of an impression on me that Iāve been committed to only dealing with salespeople that identify as women. I do this for a few reasons the most important is that Iām a loyal customer and I choose very carefully where I spend my time and money. My first experience wouldnāt be that terrible 4 out of 5 stars probably, but itās a principle thing for me. And I am a stickler for outstanding customer service which is exactly what I just got from Lea Sullivan at Schneidermanās! I still need those custom pillows which I did mention to her.
