If I could give a no star review if I would. After buying a dining set from Slumberland with what was represented as a lifetime warranty on all damage including breaks rips or tears and scratches we filed a claim. My wife spent three months trying to get the warranty company to honor the warranty. She sent in pictures multiple times of the damage just for them to deny the claim. She then called Slumberland to find out why we were lied to about the warranty and they admitted our sales rep had lied to us and that they were no longer working for Slumberland. My wife then spent another month trying to get Slumberland and the warranty company to get on the same page. So four months later and more frustration they stated that they would give us a four hundreded some odd dollar credit that we could use on anything because they no longer had chairs in stock and only one replacement table top. Another month goes by and we go in to use our credit, now they want us to return our 1000 dollar dining set for a 400 credit. This company is despicable and the Manager at the Woodbury location Jeremy was not able to return calls as his staff promised. Continued... As it turns out it was a big misunderstanding stacked on top of another misunderstanding. Jeremy took the time to explain and calm me down after he took the time to get clarity on the issue. I appreciate and apologize to Jeremy.
Thank you Jeremy for you understanding and for...
Read moreWe reluctantly returned to Slumberland for the purchase of replacing our living room furniture. The couch we were replacing came from there and that was a disappointing experience, but due to necessity, we decided to give them another chance, but tried a different location. So far this experience is no better. The salesperson was nice, but once the sale is made, it's all downhill from there. We were told someone would call when our furniture came in and they would schedule delivery at that time. When we hadn't heard anything for days after we were told it should be in, we called to find out what was going on, only to learn our furniture had already come in. During that call we scheduled a delivery date. The time frame given was sometime between 8 AM and 5:30 PM. But she told me the delivery team would call the night before with a smaller two hour time frame. Now, it's the morning of delivery, no one has called, AGAIN. So, now I wait AGAIN for someone to be reachable to find out when I might be able to go to work today. And the quality of what we purchased is yet to be determined. The previous couch was broken in the first week of ownership. I'm hopeful these will last us longer than the previous one did. Next time we need furniture we will not be taking the easy way out by going somewhere familiar, but will instead be looking for significantly greater quality instead. Live...
Read moreWe went furniture shopping and spent 2 weeks looking for the perfect set. Found 2 sets we really liked and went with the set at Slumberland because of how great the sales person was. Sales person knew we were on a time crunch and told us the furniture we picked was 6 to 10 weeks out but they have been coming at 6 weeks or before so shouldn't be a problem. That was on April 24th. We ordered the set and anticipated that we would have it by around June 6th best case scenario and worst case end of June (week 10). Which was the latest we could wait was end of June. (mind you the other furniture we had picked out was in stock and ready for shipment the next week) Well today i missed a call and when i called back was informed we are looking at mid july to end of July. I asked if we could get a refund as it was known we needed it sooner. I was told with a 25% restock fee.... a restock fee on furniture not even made yet... I get things happen however i feel like i was lied to. Maybe the sales person should of said 6 to 15 weeks and left out the it most likely would be at the 6 week... Super...
