This place is out of this world cool. Completely awesome. When you enter this store and start looking at the labels the products the everything, an understanding comes to in the form of a realization that they are doing something, everyone should do but very few are doing so.
I asked about the avocado spray that everyone has rushed to Bill Gates receive for their produce it's called apeel. They spray it on produce especially avocados and things that rot fast in order to preserve it on the shelf for a long time.
The Natural Grocer does NOT do this. As a company they banned that spray Nationwide in all of their stores, in a public statement saying they just do not believe that that is the level of organic quality that they provide. I was already sold on their store and their company and how and how Uber organic all of their products are, food cleaners soap shampoo toilet paper, yeah all of it. I was sold just on those many wonderful things. But when I found out that they banned that horrific heavy metal spray, I realized that despite the fact the prices are higher, the quality meets or surpasses the price. We need more of the stores, we need to choke out the stores that are trying to sell us poison. At the end of the day I hate to be rash but that's what many stores are doing to us these days. But the natural grocer, they stand alone. They are different. Support them. Allow that support to speak to these other retail monsters, these giants that are into it for major profit regardless of who it hurts. The more we support stores like the natural grocer, the louder our voices...

Dear Customer Service Team,
I’m writing to express our disappointment regarding a recent experience with a purchase we made at your store.
Last night, we purchased a large plastic container of Organic Girl lettuce. When we opened it to prepare a salad, we were shocked to find a slimy, foul-smelling handful of rotten lettuce inside. While we understand that occasional quality issues can occur, we were even more disappointed by how the situation was handled when we returned to the store today.
We brought the product back in hopes of exchanging it, but were refused a return because we did not have the receipt. We explained the situation and even pointed out that other containers of the same lettuce on the shelf were also visibly spoiled. Unfortunately, nothing was done to address the issue.
We shop at your store regularly and expect a higher level of customer service and product quality. Being unable to exchange a clearly spoiled item—especially one that seems to be part of a larger batch issue—is very frustrating.
We hope you will take this feedback seriously and look into the issue with your Organic Girl lettuce inventory. Additionally, we’d appreciate it if your return policy could be applied more reasonably in cases where product quality is clearly compromised.
Thank you for your attention to...
Read moreLeaving from my Saturday afternoon routine of services at Our Lady of the Woods Church, I needed to go by Natural Grocers and make a possible order for some dark chocolate, due to the fact that I had bought some originally from Natural Grocers, but for some reason this particular variety of Lily's chocolate dark was no longer available... I encountered a very congenial and smiling woman named Heather, and in my shopping, gave her time to see if this particular variety of Lily's bar was available to order. Within 10 minutes she found me in the store and said it was most certainly available, and I put my order in for a dozen, considering it's one of my "last semi-mature indulgences"!!! Ha! I also implored Heather as a resource to discover some Information about probiotics and so enjoyed her enthusiasm, positive attitude, and the information she shared with me in such an attentive manner! I'm certainly happy that the Woodland Park Natural Grocers has such an engaging employee base available to the customers! Way to go Natural Grocers and thank you again, so much Heather!
