My wife and I are in the area temporarily (until Oct). Because of our location we were told there was no address for UPS/FedEx delivery. With this being the case we decided to rent a UPS box for the time we are here. A short time later we discovered there was an address for delivery and decided to cancel the UPS box. In the short time that I had the box (15 days) the store ownership changed. I canceled the box and inquired about a refund for the 3 1/2 months that remained on the rental. To my surprise I was told by the "new" owner/manager that they dont refund. What?? No refund for the remaining 3 1/2 months. Not happening, either provide a refund (approximately $75) or give me the box back. Even USPS will prorate and refund for early cancellation of a USPS box. She called the previous owner who was very nice and more concerned about "doing the right thing for the customer" than keeping money from the customer. She (previous owner) determined after looking at my account and hearing my side that I should receive the refund and rather than have the new owner refund out of the store account she would refund out of her personal account. This new owner has a lot to learn about customer service and doing the right thing. I'm not a proponent of "the customer is always right". I am a proponent of "do the right thing for the customer"! Refunding my money was the right thing to do. Allowing the previous owner to provide the refund out of her own personal account was wrong. The new owner should have stepped up and taken responsibility for this. (The previous owner stated that in 14 years of business I'm only the third person to request a refund on a box). I would suggest that a clause be included in the contract you sign stating that there are no refunds on early termination of a UPS box and all employees should be trained to emphasize this with the customer. I would also suggest that the new owner look at each case individually and learn that its okay to do what's right for the customer. My rating is solely against the "new" owner. Had it not been for the previous owner I would not have received a refund. (The previous owner gets a 5...
Read moreVery poor change in management. I am a small online reseller, and I’ve been visiting this location since March. I rely on their business to print my shipping labels, only costing me 10 cents per label at the time (my customers pay for shipping). Within the last 3 months or so, printing a small label had changed... costing me $1.12 or so. I was a little upset at this change, but I continued to go to this location because it was so close.
Today was the last straw. I go in today with 3 packages expecting to pay $1. The woman at the register has always been extremely rude, and was rude again today. She told me I had to pay $3 for sending an email containing my labels and then printing my labels or something. Confused, I explained I had only paid $1.12 the week before (printing 3 labels for 3 packages the week before as well). I was confused when that had changed. She said that it had changed a couple months ago, and that printing a sheet was only... 10 cents. So why was it $3 now, $1.12 printing fee the week before? Makes absolutely no sense.
I am severely disappointed that this business is upping their prices for such small services, especially in a time like this. $3 compared to 10 cents is a big change, for a business like mine. I can just go to the library and print my labels for 10 cents each instead of $3! From the rude customer service, to the ridiculous and confusing prices... I will not be returning. Big waste of time. Suggest finding better management...
Read moreWell first off I didn't want to even give them one star but that's the only way to get to voice my opinion I talked to a person at UPS here in Woodland Park, CO and he told me the store has no interaction with the drivers so I guess this story is going out there somewhere! He did give me a number to call to report so when I'm done here I am going to call 800- 742- 5877 and see where I get there cause I don't have anything else to do with my time except to take care of this BS. anyway my story is... My neighbor brought two packages to my door and told me that UPS was dropping packages in front of his house in a DITCH in the SNOW! Yes it is difficult to get thru some of the back roads, but no sorry there is no excuse for this poor service. If you can't handle the mountain roads and do your job correctly then maybe it's not the right job for you. In still totally shocked over this. I don't like to write a bad review but this is terrible! This happened last year too but I let it go. I just can't let it go this time. These are gifts for my family for Christmas. Maybe the supervisor of the truck drivers will see this and take care of this...
