If this is the Subway in the shopping center of safeway in woodland park (and I believe it is) then our service yesterday was very poor. An elderly woman I care for (who had been in the hospital all day, following a recent extremely traumatic medical experience in a store while forced to wear a mask in which flight for life ended up being called for her after due to this experience..) and I came to this location. It is very important for her to not be in distress for her heart and it's also important for her to be able to breath oxygen properly. After a long day in the hospital we came to subway. A man named Tim was very curt, rude, and aggressive. She couldn't understand him when it was time to check out and she conveyed that to him. It seems as though he took it personally and very aggressively said he could get a lot louder! she explained that it wasn't his volume it was that the mask was muffling his voice and that she was already hard of hearing and with that combined she couldn't understand him. Her and I both had a mask pulled down beneath our mouths as we are BOTH LEGALLY EXEMPT as is the rest of Colorado if they so choose but particularly for this lady it is very important for her to be able to breath properly and NOT be in distress. He then began to very loudly and aggressively rant about how he was tired of people complaining and she said you're tired of me? He continued to very aggressively lash out at her explaining that when a mandate is given we needed to obey! To an EIGHTY YEAR OLD MEDICALLY FRAGILE WOMAN!!! I intervened and asked him how dare he speak to an elderly woman this way, he continued to lash out at me too and when I asked for his name he very smartaleckly said that I can go ahead and report him as if he wasn't concerned about any repercussions to his nasty behavior and frankly after reading the reviews on your page it seems as though that either this is acceptable behavior in this particular subway or you have bad luck on who you hire. I hope it is the latter. Whether she was medically exempt or not this is unacceptable behavior. She wore the mask beneath her mouth out of courtesy (as they do nothing but we understand many are mislead into believing they have magical powers but quite frankly she still needs to breath along with the rest of the world and not be discriminated against). Its absolutely unconstitutional and ILLEGAL to treat either of us this way. She was in great distress following this. A wet paper towel from the bathroom was requested to place on her to calm her down but not from your store as it was too stressful to return, following further stress in which further assistance was required sadly once again. Legal counsel is being sought and we hope you respect we the peoples rights and have decency and respect for us all and handle this situation as to ensure no one ever has to suffer the treatment we were given at your establishment. I understand that businesses have been pressured to enforce this nonsense and I feel bad for them being placed in a position like this. We tried to atleast have our masks 'there' to put people at ease but whether we or anyone else for that matter had even done that or not is no excuse for this behavior. This was this...
Read moreEXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! My wife and I stopped at this Subway to get lunch. We decided we would get the 12 inch cheese steak sandwich and split it between us. I was waiting in line behind 6 other customers and my wife needed to use the restroom. She went to use the restroom but it was locked. She asked an employee for help and the employee said she had to wait until she got the code at the bottom of the receipt before she could use the restroom. We are senior citizens and I realized that we would probably wait 10-15 minutes behind other customers before we got the receipt and code. This was not going to work for my wife’s bladder so I asked someone who looked like the manager if he could let my wife use the bathroom immediately. He said, No, you must wait until you get your receipt. I said that we can’t wait and we will go somewhere else. We went a short distance to Arby’s and we were able to use the restroom and get a great steak sandwich without any more drama. We were very surprised by this strange policy and we thought it was very mean that they could not make an exception for us. I don’t think we will be going to any Subway after this experience. Does the Sub in Subway mean Sub-Standard attitude toward their customers? That’s what it seems like to us. Thank you Arby’s for taking care...
Read morePlaced an order online , went in 30 min laterand they hasn't even looked at Mt order yet.
Employees were rude and the place was filty, the counter was covered in ingredients and crumbs and the ingredients were mixing with eachother. Lady kept leaning over the sandwiches and letting her shirt touch the food. The online order recipt was drug through the ingredient bins. They touched their face with the gloves and continued making our sandiches. They were out of things so I substituted the type of bread and a few veggies. They treated me like an inconvenience for even being there. Sandwiches seemed to be made and wrapped carelessly.
There was a girl with light brown hair that was kind and trying to do her job. When she packed up my subs she asked if I wanted cookies or a drink or anything. The other gal cut in with "they paid online they don't get cookies or a drink "... what if I wanted to add to my order ??
Your better off going elsewhere.
In total it took over 45 -50 min from the time I placed the online order to actually...
