Edit: Just wanted to update - 6 more months and my line is still not buried in my backyard. A tech came out and laid out the line for burial but they never came back. Today I started a new game while on my walk. Looking for other Peak Internet customers with their fiber lines above ground. Found 5 all in a 4 block area. Will post more as I find them. Original review: Peak internet is infinitely better than Comcast and Century Link. You cannot beat their customer service and, for the price, their fiber internet is pretty awesome. My issue is that when they installed service this spring I asked that they bury the fiber line running from the back corner of my lot to the house. When I called a couple of months later to find out when I could expect someone to be there to bury the line they said I wasn’t on the list. They added me to the list that I originally thought I was on yet here we are 6 months into our service with a fiber line hanging from the fence in our yard. This would be a 5 star review if they would just follow through with what they promised they’d do. Come on guys, get it together.

Peak Internet is miles ahead of the competition. When I was told I could get fiber internet in my tiny town of 150+ people I couldn't wait to brag to all my friends living in the Denver suburbs. I went from DSL internet speeds that hardly rivaled my dial-up providers in the 90s (the only provider in my area, hint: it rhymes with HencheryBlink) to the leading speeds in the 21st century. Download matches my upload with 4ms of ping (and I can provide screenshots if anyone wants proof). Reliable and fast internet with customer service that cannot be matched. Shawn is the man. He actually reached out to me in a text message a month after I started service just to see how things were going. It would be next to impossible to name a modern provider that does that. These guys are the real deal. Ditch your corporate internet and join the rest of us living in 2023. Thank you Peak Internet!

Very pleasant install for Fiber! Thank you Caleb & Deanne, you guys are Update: 20 October a tech came to reinstall & reroute 400 feet of fiber from a different roadside Connection to my house. I canceled. The service was poor and they are part time.

I am changing my review after this lovely family owned company was bought and service has gone down hill. I understand with the recent snow power outage that things might take a bit to get back online. I’ve been waiting 6 days for a tech to at least attempt to remote fix my issue, and nothing. My husband is a first responder and we have to rely on this service for his job. Every time I contact them they “check” the status of my ticket and are never able to give me an update on when my service will be restored or even attempt a remote fix. Just a bunch of running around. 2 trucks passed my house yesterday and nothing. I’m looking into Teller Wi-Fi and if that doesn’t work Starlink. I understand living in the mountains brings its challenges but every single time my internet was down with peak in the past, during snow storms, lightening storms, you name it…they were always able to get my service restored within a responsible time. There is no communication between tech support and customer service and you have to go through several departments just to ask a simple question.

Original review 2020: I was desperate when I went into Peak looking for a miracle for my house of four teenagers and the lack of internet my satellite company had been providing for the last 3 years. Alexis and Toni went out of their way to explain in detail what I could expect if I joined Peak. They were kind and professional and empathized with my dilemma. Having four teens with no internet is no joke. Derek arrived just when he said he would, even in the pouring rain to test our signal. We had a direct line of site to their tower, even better than he was expecting and I was thrilled to hear we would be getting very good service. See I live out in the middle of nowhere and I thought for sure I was dreaming at best for better internet. Derek was so knowledgeable, friendly and did a phenomenal job on the install hiding the wires for my picky husband and doing really nice professional work. He took his time to do the job right and you can tell he really cared. We've had our new service for about 5 days now. Man, I can't believe how great it has been. No weather outages with this crazy rain and clouds and it's super fast. All the teens can stream and play online vids at one time. That right there saved their sanity and mine, especially during this lockdown. I can't believe I did satellite and paid those crazy prices for so long with sub par speeds and constant outages. Thank you guys for the outstanding service. I couldn't be...

Just had the fiber optic line buried. Fred, the cable burying guru, was great. We had a super long route from home connection to the "box". He made sure the cable was underground the whole way as to not interfere with landscaping or mowing next summer. I know the guys and gals work hard over at Peak Internet but if they ever want to see what real hard work is, just go out with Fred for the day. Super Nice and Friendly.. 5+ stars to you Fred. Thanks again!

Welcome to Fiber Optic!! We were just upgraded to fiber optic from the dish on the house. What a difference it's made. More than twice the speed and now no worry about weather or relying on a tower. Consistent speeds are the key to working from home and now we have them. Big shout out to Caleb who did the troubleshooting, Nichole in billing making the smooth transition and Derek in wiring the house to get this super high speed in the door. Superior service is a WELCOME addition to a much needed internet provider.

We have had Peak Internet in 2 homes in Woodland Park. The one thing that stands out with this company is the service. Yes, the service! I have always been able to get someone on the phone. Courteous, Professional and always willing to help. The best thing about our experience is their "Dream Team" in the field. The "Dream Team" as I like to refer to them is Caleb and Clay. Two professional troubleshooters, wi-fi experts, and solution based associates. They always...

We recently moved to woodland park and everyone said Peak was the best internet service in town. We called to set it up and they laid it on thick and sold us with their 30 day trial, that if during that time we wanted to cancel we'd get a full refund. Well, the service was really aweful, both internet and digital voice, and there wasn't anything they could do to improve it. So we moved to TDS which is providing excellent connectivity. When we cancelled our services in that 30 day period, they created a lot of hoops to jump through to get it cancelled. Once we got it all done and equipment back to them we were supposed to get our refund within a week. Surprise surprise we didn't. When I called them back they said they never processed it and we'd still have to wait a week or so for them to get to it. So, they messed up, but I'd still have to wait. Then.....they said it might be a problem now because it is outside of the 30 day period. But I'd have to wait till the manager looks at it, in a week or so. So I have to go through their broken process a 2nd time and might not even get a refund because of timing. So basically they were challenging when I tried to cancel, then they messed up the refund, then they weren't even helpful to try to fix it, then they said they can't do much else. Fine quality company....they aren't the only business in town, look around there are others...
