I took my kids there, today for dinner. I should have known we were in for a rough time, when I saw that we had to pay for the chips and salsa, and they brought out two ramekins of salsa. We ordered queso an assorted appetizer plate, two combination meals, and the steak and chicken fajitas, for me. The queso turned out to be made using cream cheese, which was pretty nasty. The appetizer platter was comprised of quesadilla, small chimichanga's, and taquitos; they were tasteless, I don't even think they had salt on them. My $21 fajitas turned out to be a tiny portion of raw veggies - on a hot platter - with enough meat for, maybe, three small tortillas; if I could force myself to eat it, and I could only choke down one bit. The fajita meat was so tasteless, it had to have been boiled, and it had absolutely zero seasoning on it. When the server finally came around to see how everything tasted, I told him mine was horrible, the worst fajitas I'd ever had. He came back and took the offensive items out of my sight, apologizing; then asked if I was ready for the bill. The kids wanted to take the rest of theirs home, so we got a couple of boxes. When I got the bill, I was STUNNED to see that the server only gave me a 50% discount off the $21 price of my meal; the meal that I only took one bite of. The bill was over $85, I left a 5.5% tip, and wrote that I took 50% off the tip; when I normally tip 20% or more. Poor service and the worst Mexican food I've ever had, in my...

Very nice inside and out and that is where nice ends. We are in town for family vacation and I can say with roughly 790 mile between Woodland Park and our home. It was the worse experience we have had. Waitress initially acted put out by the fact we requested to have beverages. (They don’t offer water upon arrival). Keep in mind the place is large and there were only two other customers at tables. Then we order our meals which for the first time in my life I declined to order Mexican food, (my absolute favorite food!) because of our experience so far. Everyone’s food arrives and two out of the 5 meals ordered were not right. Then I requested waters for the table because by the time we got our food right, everyone’s initial beverage was gone. Waitress brings back glasses and a pitcher of water then proceeds to pour the drinks over meals spilling a significant amount of water onto my sons French fries, his was one of the meals that where wrong. No one was impressed with there meals. As a business owner I truly hate to leave bad reviews but this one...

Awesome friendly wait staff! The food was even prepared while. But it's about as low grade as you could get. My boyfriend and I dying here the other night he ordered a cheeseburger and I ordered the seafood chimichanga. The burger he received was literally the same Burger my restaurant sells for $2 because that's all it's worth. Although we paid 9 here. My Seafood chimichanga was advertised as having shrimp crab meat and fish. they had tiny sauteed shrimp a little bigger than the kind you would find in ramen noodles LOL. It had very little Cod and no crab meat at all the pieces I did Taste of cod or extremely fishy and not good at all. The only thing I would say was worth the money here was the fried ice cream at got at the end of dinner. Like I said to begin with the wait staff was awesome and very friendly though! The food tasted like trash and was very low quality maybe would have tasted better if it was something I paid $10 for instead of $40. Tip my waitress $10 and...

It wasn't necessarily a bad experience. The decor was nice. The staff was friendly. The food was kind of bland though. The kids' quesadilla was $10 and I couldn't even tell it had been cooked, it was pure white. The chimichanga was okay, but not great. My wife ordered some chicken dish and said the best part were the vegetables. When I asked, that didn't mean she found them to be great, they were just the best thing on the plate. The staff was also a bit too attentive. We had not only our waitress coming by to check on us, but also the hostess for some reason, so we had someone at our table asking if everything was okay about every 5 minutes. The food was also quite overpriced for something we could get most other places at $70 for two adult entrees with water and a kids' quesadilla with chocolate milk. They also didn't mention we'd be charged for the chips and salsa which is usually complimentary at most places. Like I said not bad but not great

I’m so bummed, but this was definitely one of the worst meals we’ve had here in Woodland Park. The meats were bland and way under seasoned. The rice and refried beans were also bland and barely lukewarm when they brought it out. The worst was the fajita bowl, of which we had two people order. One came out cooked okay, while the other came out overly cooked and pretty burnt. We were shocked they even brought it out like that and when we brought it to the waiter’s attention, he said oh I apologize and walked away. No offer to replace, comp anything, talk to the manager, or even give a free dessert. The fillings inside were, as with almost everything else, lukewarm and bland. The steak from the steak y mas was good, but even the rest of that meal wasn’t decent at all. Even the drinks were weak and the mojitos tasted like lime-aid. Quite disappointed and definitely won’t be back.

I almost always post great ratings but really Searching for positives … food was edible (I think). The queso is a grainy white substance that can only be described as unloved leftover grits. How it can be considered fit for serving is a travesty The margarita…. I think it’s supposed to go in my car as antifreeze but no way I was meant to drink it. The entrees were the best part of the meal. They were nostalgic as they reminded me of my mothers Mexican food cooking as a child. My mom is a Midwestern woman who’s Mexican cuisine consisted of shredded cheddar cheese and mild “taco sauce”. I think they shared recipes with taco grande To top it off it’s the most expensive Mexican food in woodland park AND they charge a credit card surcharge. The service was fine and polite but you’re much better off at Serranos, and quite honestly Serranos dumpster for that matter.
