Wanted to take my two teenager girls to get their first professional manicure. Making the appointment was easy and straightforward. There is a deposit which was made online, with the appointment set, we traveled from Odenton arriving 20 minutes early to the location. The technician, had to come open the door and told us she still had a client and she would be only a few minutes. We sat in the hallway for 1 hour and 20mins, well past the appointment time. We decided to leave, I leaned into the door and told Tina "the technician", we are leaving and to cancel the appointment. She states that she is almost finished with the customer. Yes, the same customer she had when were scheduled for our appointment and the very same customer she had in her chair when we initially walked in....an hour and 25 minutes prior. So with thus said, she may be decent nail technician but she care nothing about your time. We were also told I couldn't not get my deposit back, based on some her rules of no shows and/or cancellation. My reply, was that having a client waiting for over an hour and not providing a service is unprofessional. We'll try other black owned business further south of Bmore, and hope this...
Read moreShe was very late to a 530 appointment very impatient with me asking about my service and kept calling me the B word as I was her (friend) and I am a customer. This is my second time going to her the first time she was very rude and NOT patient ,, and with my child, she tells me that my son should be talking at his age and my son is to just turn two at that time, but that was none of your business. ((If he was off, he wasn’t)). I thought it was maybe because she had other customers there but this time it was only me and her there AND I was in the shop for four hours to get a fill-in and two nails fixed. She said my service was $75 and it took $28 to book the appointment so I don’t understand where is my $28…. I am in the hair, business and deal with people myself, but I will never be impatient with a person telling me what they like, and what they dislike or cut them off or having conversations with them and calling them the B word never again. working with Black people can being difficult that’s why some people just go to the other races to get the service done. (((((( hello and I am so not happy with my service in my style) but if I said I wasn’t pan it would’ve been a...
Read moreI don't leave reviews but I have to this time. I had my second appointment with this establishment today at 6:45 pm. I wasn’t expecting to get started right at that time but maybe 15 mins later or so. I said that I was in the lobby. A few minutes later I seen the nail technician and another lady walk out of the building. At that time I did not know it was her. She came back in and went to her office without saying a word. I called left a voicemail then called back and said I was here for my appointment then I was told "I thought that was you and "I'm still working on my client" . not I apologize or sorry or anything. Now it's 7:30pm and the women in the pedicure chair is getting a treatment while I'm still trying to be patient sitting outside the room. 7:45pm rolls around and i am still waiting to be seen. I had something else to do so unfortunately I had to leave without getting any service. I said that I will have to reschedule but as I’m thinking about this situation I will not return to this salon. If I would have gotten an apology for being late to an appointment that I chose that was available online then I would...
