I brought my puppy to Puppy Palace for his very first grooming, and unfortunately, my initial experience was disappointing. I showed them a photo from their own Instagram and explained the style I wanted. I even dropped him off early so he could acclimate since it was his first time.

When I picked him up, I hardly recognized him. His face was uneven, the cut was choppy, and overall it didn’t look clean. The groomer told me they had to “modify” the style I requested, but no one called to inform me or get my approval before making the changes. One side of his face was noticeably shorter than the other, and his body cut was inconsistent. I was confused because I was told he behaved well, so I didn’t understand why the cut looked so rushed and uneven. At that point, I didn’t feel comfortable returning.

However, the day after I made my post, Puppy Palace reached out to me via text apologizing and saying they wanted to resolve the situation. I spoke with the receptionist, who was very understanding and asked me to explain exactly what had happened. She clarified that the groomer shown in the Instagram photo was not the one who had cut my dog, and she offered to schedule an appointment with that specific groomer to achieve the results I originally requested. I also expressed my concerns about whether the cut could be corrected given how uneven it was, and she reassured me that they could address everything.

While I didn’t receive a refund, they did offer a complimentary full-service grooming for my next visit. After the correction, my puppy was much happier and playful, and his haircut looked far better, closer to what I had requested. This experience showed me that the staff genuinely care about customer satisfaction and the well-being of the pets in their care.

I would advise anyone visiting to ask questions about which groomer they will be assigned and to be specific about the style they want. I plan to return, but only with the groomer who corrected my puppy’s cut. Overall, I really appreciate Puppy Palace’s willingness to communicate and make things right, and what started as a negative experience ultimately...

This will be our new dog wash place! We recently moved to the area and I have two rescue German Shepherds who decided to lay in the mud while it rained, but it’s too cold to give them a bath outside. I found this place and brought them in for self-service wash. They were able to get me in same day. They had an extra large bay that was able to accommodate both my dogs (80 and 100lbs, respectively) and me with plenty of space. The owner checked in on me regularly, offering additional supplies and gave me great tips on how to get them dry with their double-coats. When I tried to start cleaning up (if you have two long-hair dogs with double coats you know the amount they shed all over the place during the bath/dry), the owner insisted they would take care of everything, which makes it a great experience for the owners! They were extremely respectful of my dogs, who were clearly having anxiety and nobody tried to pet or approach them - which was fantastic.

There were several other dogs getting professionally groomed and they all seemed to be enjoying their baths.

So after going to get my dog groomed at PetSmart and they made me feel like my dog was ungroomable I was down and out about it for 2 months and today I felt like I don’t care my boy needs and deserves a good grooming. I came to puppy palace and let them know what I was going thru and what I wanted them to do and they were open and pleased to have my dog to be groomed by them. They said leave and come back in 2 hrs and I did so. When they called I rushed up there to see my boy and when I say I was sooooo shocked at such a magnificent job they did, I was stunned. I didn’t even recognize my dog for a second because they made him look like a show dog for the movies, lol. Further more he felt great, looked wonderful, and felt amazing. The groomer I had assigned for him was Carly. She was professional and went over plans for him and when to come back and everything. The whole staff and experience was wonderful and I will go noooooo where else but here when I comes to getting my dog groomed. Thank you sooo much Puppy Palace and thanks miss Carly for doing such a magnificent job. I am more than pleased and recommend anyone with any age or size dog to go there for grooming...
