Ruby Nails — Local services in Woodlawn

So first off two of my nails broke off after 1 WEEK ! #Cheapassproducts !! So I went back to get two of my nails repaired and she told me it would cost 8 dollars to get them repaired and it already had costed me 35 to get a full set and my toes down and then I have to come back and pay 8 more dollars for two nails so 43 dollars so I asked could I ATLEAST get a discount and this lady gonna get smart with me and say no you have to pay or go back to where you got them done from and I said I got them done HERE and she kept getting me a attitude like just TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE so then I told her I won’t be coming back here and she says ok don’t come back !!! So then I want the same color for my nails I got the last time but I couldn’t find it so when she put the color of my two fingers it didn’t match so I was looking for the right color and I told her I couldn’t find it and she just sitting there not even helping me and getting smart again so then I was like you can just give me my money back then and she’s like no and so I asked to speak to the manager and she said there was no manger available and so me and her start arguing and she calls her co workers over and they start fussing at me to so then I asked to use the phone and they were like no but thankfully I woman was there who let me use her phone and I called my mom up there and the lady just painted my nails and we left but it was just very veryyyyy UNPROFESSIONAL !! Been coming here for a while. One day was busier than usual and they threw me to the least experienced tech. Now he did a cool job on my toes but when it came to my nails they were thick, out of shape, and to fix them he just kept applying more polish as if they weren’t thick enough. Anyways I told em I didn’t like them and he started being sassy with my hands. Yk like grabbing them all passively and stuff. Then it comes time to pay cause I don’t have time to do them over. I was leaving for work. They tried to over charge me! I told them “NO IM PAYING WHAT I USUALLY PAY!” It wasn’t until I stated that they actually should take some money off due to the way my nails actually looked that they agreed to just let me pay my usual. You could tell he was either still learning, always had customer complaints or was just the least experienced by the way his neighboring tech kept watching and peeking over while servicing me. Oh and get THIS whwn I mentioned what I usually paid they had the woman tech that serviced me two weeks prior come out and tell me she just basically hooked me up cause I didn’t have the money LOL!!!! I was flabbergasted!!!! I could do nothing but laugh and get angry all at once! Idek how that’s possible but I replied I WORK I would never have came if I didn’t have the funds! They’re a bunch of scam artists and their eyebrow job is an absolute MESS...they never did mine but when those women get outta that chair...

I’m very put off with experience, I started coming here about a year ago per referral from a friend, saw Tammy and loved my nails initially. About the third time going I asked if I should do new set or fill in and was told fill in and my nails ended up looking very bad, when I addressed it, I was met with resistant to fix and I ended up paying myself for a polish change, stopped going for months. Just started back and Tammy was speaking about how she has begun blocking customers. Well my last experience I had pretty work but the nail polish that was used was I would assume old and I kept having ripples and bumps in the nails even after they dried. Tammy fixed once. After a week when the same thing was happening I asked to have a polish change that I would be paying for. Tammy said she was busy so I went to the shop and had someone else do polish change. 2 hours after I left Tammy text and said I should try someone else there and she no longer feels comfortable doing my nails. I have never once gotten loud, aggressive, rude or even argumentative with her ever! All because I came to have messed up nails corrected and more than willing to pay!
