This location is hit or miss. I love Primos hoagies and have eaten them for years. I've ordered from many locations and there is a noticable difference between this location and the others. This one needs help.
Sometimes the hoagies are made correctly other times they are not. It's about a 50/50 chance you'll get a well crafted Primo hoagie from this location. The two main issues revolve around the quality of the bread and quantity of meat found on the hoagie.
My last visit was the worst and prompted me to write this review. I called in the order on a Saturday around noon. I ordered 3 or 4 hoagies two of which were a Mild Italian with hot peppers (not long hots) and a small meatball with provolone cheese. The girl told me it would be ready in half an hour. I had to run some errands and didn't arrive till almost 1pm. There were 4 people waiting for orders when I arrived. There were 4 employees working that day. When I got to the counter I was assailed by a bunch of black flies. The girl working the counter was wearing food prep gloves and handling money while working the register. She told me my order wasn't ready yet. I paid for my food and stood aside to wait. I spoke with another customer for a bit then looked back into the food prep area where the girl working the counter with her food prep gloves on was now handling a whole hoagie and putting tooth picks in it and cutting it up. She may have changed her gloves I don't know for sure. 30 minutes later the place was full of people waiting for orders. I asked two women how long ago they called in their order and they said they called in the order well over an hour ago. They were going to a ball game and were going to be late due the hoagies not being prepared on time. At 2pm I was the last person in the place and my order was finally ready. Two hours after calling in my order I finally had my hoagies and headed home.
When we opened our sandwiches we found that the bread on the Italian was rock hard and literally cracked and crumbled when I squeezed it. I had ordered hot peppers (banana peppers) but after a few bites I found there weren't any on it. They had put long hots on it instead. They were unbelievably hot and could still be tasted even after I took them off. The meatballs were burnt and had no cheese on them. I didn't bother bringing them back to the store because I had wasted enough of my day off already.
This was by far my worst experience at a Primos. The corporate office needs to visit this place and get them squared away. I won't be eating...
Read moreI love primos but not this location. Absolutely the worst costumer service I have ever received. I ordered a hoagie try on Wednesday for delivery for Friday at 11:30. (our office was having a luncheon at noon) well 11:55 an still no food. I called and was told we are really busy the order will go out in 15 minutes. I than asked why no one called me to say that they were busy and really behind. The girl just said sorry it will go out in 15 minutes. 12:30 rolls around still no food. I call back get hung up on at least 5 times. The girl picks up the phone says hello and than just puts you on hold. I call back and ask where is my delivery she than tells me oh it will be going out in less than 15 minutes. I tell her that is what you told me a half hour ago I said we give you alot of business this is ridiculous. I than ask to speak with the manager the girl than put me on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up called back again she answered hello and put me on hold for 5 minutes. I hung up called back and asked once again to speak with a manager, she very rudely told me he is slicing and that she was busy , I stated I wanted to know when my order was going to be delivered and I wanted a discount a this point since they were an hour late now. She again put me on hold for another 10 minutes. I hung up called back once again and was finally told that the order had just gone out. Finally received the food at 1:30!! Will NEVER Order from them again!!! They don't even deserve one star. How can they run a business like that. I understand that they might have been busy but all they had to do was call me and say hey look we are really short staffed and busy today there is no way we can have your...
Read moreI ordered two hoagies today at 1145am through their online system. I was told It would be ready for pick up at 12:38pm. I waited until 1230pm to leave my house and drive there. I walked in at 12:38pm and the short woman on the counter looked behind her at an empty shelf and told me it would be "a few minutes longer." Ok, no problem. By 1pm, my TWO hoagies still were not done. I asked for a status and the rude woman says, "Oh, what was your name again?" Told her my name for probably the 5th or 6th time at this point (she saw me standing there and kept asking what my name was). Still no hoagies. At 1:05pm I said "Excuse me? Any updates on my two hoagies?" She was like "Oh it's right here, wrapping them up now." A young man proceeds to hand me a bag with ONE hoagie in it. I said "Excuse me. I ordered two hoagies, this is 1. I also ordered--" and the rude counter woman cut me off. "You are Desiree, right?" DEAR LORD NO, for the 8th time. Now I lost my cool. I proceeded to tell her these hoagies were due at 1238pm, it's now 1:10. I placed the order at 11:45 why on EARTH would it take a place 90+ minutes to make TWO lousy hoagies??? She proceeded to get rude again and yell that they are "short staffed" and busy. Really? I see 5 people back there helping out...not one of those 5 could make two Italian hoagies? This place has changed ownership but it doesn't matter It still sucks. The wait times are still bad, the people they hire are not bright, and the list goes on. I would rather eat a hoagie from a high school cafeteria than ever...
